He's doesn't like being handled but she's always does everything she can make him comfortable. It's lovely to see how much she really cares about the animals she treats, she's the best vet my dogs ever had!!

I later went to another local veterinary practice and was quoted a far lower overall price for the same treatment, which was carried out successfully. This experience really highlighted how extreme the price differences between vet practices can be. Veterinary fees in the UK are not regulated, and situations like this show why greater price transparency, or regulation, would better protect pet owners. I would strongly advise anyone using this practice to get a written, itemised quote and to compare prices with other local vets before proceeding.
