  So far brilliant, I know it will be expensive but already feel they are much more capable than our usual vets.

  Kara our husky has been under the care of BVS since October 2025 where she had radiation therapy for her Nasal Tumour and check ups/reviews following this. From the first appointment to present the service and care she has received (and also us!) has been brilliant. From the friendly welcoming reception team to the Vets, Nurses and support staff we’ve met along the way! A big thank you to Owen in Oncology and the rest of the team, you’ve always been great with Kara and supportive of her worried owners!! Also thank you to the Ophthalmology team who have seen Kara on a few occasions! Just a big thank you for everyone’s ongoing help, nearly a year on and we still have our happy girl enjoying life!

  I have been taking my dog for treatment. The staff are always very lovely and welcoming. The set up in the waiting area is thoughtful, allowing space between pets. They also have great coffee.

  I just want to say thankyou to everyone for taking care of my baby Sydney. He recently had an operation for his broken leg. This ordeal was really traumatic and I was so anxious about the surgery But I’m so happy he’s on the mend .Ignacio was so kind and lovely and I’m really happy we had such good care throughout this ordeal. If anyone reading this is worried about upcoming surgery for their pet please don’t be, I made myself so unwell leading up to the surgery. But please know your animals will be in the best care and taken care of:)

  A very late review, but seeing Ollie happy and healthy today made us want to come back and say how grateful we still are to the Ophthalmology team at Bristol Vet Specialists. We cannot thank the team enough for everything they did for Ollie after he was referred to them in February 2025, when he was only five months old. Throughout his treatment, they were incredibly responsive, compassionate and always willing to listen to our concerns and involve us in decisions about his care. When Ollie’s eye became much worse, they immediately admitted him for intensive treatment. Javier was incredibly professional and compassionate, taking the time to talk us through the different options and helping us decide what treatment was worth trying, taking into account Ollie’s young age and everything he had already been through. Whenever we had concerns, the team responded immediately. On one occasion, they arranged to see Ollie on a Sunday morning when we were worried about his eye. We always felt that they genuinely cared about him, not just as a patient but as our little boy. We are especially grateful to Javier, Emily, Savina and all the nurses and staff who cared for Ollie. He was discharged in April 2025, and now, more than a year later, he is a happy, healthy and playful young cat, as you can see in the last photo. Looking back at how poorly he was and seeing him today, we really cannot be more thankful for everything the team did for him❤️
