  I cannot thank Bristol Vet Specialists enough for their wonderful care. The team is fantastic, and their clinical expertise is second to none. Jose, the dental specialist, is absolutely superb—his knowledge and approach to complex dental care really stand out. On top of that, he’s such a nice bloke and so easy to talk to. Professional, accommodating, and very highly recommended.

  I was recently referred to Bristol Vet Specialists after my cat, Salem suffered his fourth urinary obstruction in eighteen months. After a frantic, and incredibly upsetting trip to our local vets and several nights stay at our local veterinary hospital, Salem was referred to BVS for surgery to help him (and save his life). I cannot thank the staff at BVS enough for what they have done. They have quite literally brought our lovely boy back from the brink. Our point of contact was Alex who was absolutely lovely. Attentive, informative, caring, so gentle with Salem - I cannot praise him and his team enough. I was kept up to date with Salem’s progress, how he was feeling etc. When the time came to collect Salem, Alex explained the details of Salem’s surgery, all after care meticulously and answered all of our questions, and addressed any concerns we had. Salem is on the road to recovery, as well as strict crate rest, and I am thrilled to have him back home and doing well. Thank you so much, BVS. You are all a credit to your profession.

  Absolutely fantastic experience. Our pup was referred for a heart murmur today by our regular vet and they called us less than half hour later asking if we could come straight in as they had space, they didn't hang about getting us straight to a consultation room and then taking him for a scan and then explaining in detail what the problem was and how they could fix it. Our boy was very relaxed and happy in their care and they were so friendly, it put us at ease despite the severity of the condition. They also offer complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate and water, which was very appreciated.

  I have been taking my German Shepherd Dog there for about a year after being referred by my local vet, with a ligament issue that has needed up with him having surgery. The whole experience has been amazing from the reception staff, nurses and the vets. Any issues out of hours they are always available and very responsive. Can’t recommend enough.

  When our local vet referred our cat River to BVS with a problem with his eyes, we were a bit concerned. We really didn’t need to be from the moment we walked through the door everyone were so helpful and kind. On meeting Keri-Lee and Jen (Ophthalmology) we felt at easy. Everything was explained to us clearly and the report we were given about his medication was a great help. We would 100% recommend BVS to everyone. Thank you Keri-Lee and Jen for the kindness you showed River and us x
