I have been a Pets at Home customer for over five years and have used the Eastgate Bristol branch regularly over the past year. Unfortunately, an unprofessional experience yesterday at 4:00 PM has led me to reconsider continuing as a customer.
While waiting at the checkout, the cashier overlooked the queue to serve someone who had just entered the store, and then walked away from the till entirely. When I asked to speak with the manager, the response was dismissive. She remained focused on the task in her hands, offered no meaningful eye contact, and attributed the situation to the staff member being new. The brief apology I received came only as I was packing my bags to leave.
I appreciate that many staff members are young, but the lack of basic customer service and leadership from management was disappointing. I will be purchasing my pet food and litter from alternative retailers going forward.

Staff are good and helpful and the product good but some point the shop I found a little bit smelly which I don’t like it.

I went to Eastgate pets at home after going to Imperial park pets at home & brislington pets at home & having no luck finding what i was after, I was trying to buy a tube light bulb for my vivarium the other stores didn't have any in stock luckily the Eastgate store had one left so I managed to buy it in the end after visiting the other stores.
