This is a problem with a lot of pet stores, not just this one. But I noticed it here. The gerbils are clawing at the corners of their enclosure, this happens usually due to stress/small enclosure and they are trying to escape. It is quite upsetting to see and I think that Pets at Home needs to do a better job with the enclosures they give the animals. I understand it is a Pet store and the gerbils will be bought eventually, but they should still live a nice, stress-free environment regardless.

Really enthusiastic and friendly staff. Helped me set up the app, explained how to redeem vouchers. Had knowledge of upcoming product range of raw cat food. The only thing stopping it being 5 stars is my local independent pet shop knows more!

I visited Pets at Home with lots of questions. A lovely lady called Carol helped me and spent a lot of time guiding me through everything.
She was very patient and kind, and gave me great advice on food, toys, litter trays, and the right sizes for everything. She also gave me a helpful booklet and showed me how to use my first-time discount.
All the staff were really friendly, and I’m very happy with my experience. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Thank you!
