They seemed understaffed and overwhelmed. Not the best situation to get the care you need on a regular basis for your babies. My 3rd visit and it’s always understaffed or overbooked.

I recently adopted a puppy, and thought that taking her to Banfield would be cheaper for some reason. Three times I tried to take her in for a SINGLE VACCINE, and they told me I had to pay an exam fee, leave her there for 7 hours, and spent the entire time trying to pressure me into their optimum wellness plan. When I adopted my puppy she had a scab on her ear from who knows what. The vet tried to tell me that the scab was ringworm because the scab fluoresced under UV light. If it was ringworm it would have a) not been getting better, and b) I would have seen it on my hands or my three other pets. I asked the vet if there was any other reason it would have fluoresced, and she reluctantly admitted that "scabs just do it sometimes," after trying to tell me to pay $120 for a swab and culture analysis, and then potentially a $70 cream that you can buy from chewy for $25. Switched to an independent & locally owned vet and not only is it more affordable but I feel like she is getting better, more honest care!

We always have a great experience at the Woodstock Banfield. The ladies at the check-in are always pleasant and polite. Depending on the reason for our dogs’ visit, the price of treatment is disclosed. We have the Optimum Wellness Plan which definitely helps to save us money. The Veterinarians are so thorough on every visit. I usually have questions and all of them are addressed. I love this Banfield! You will too!

My cat, Zenon, recently fell ill. I called them the day he started puked blood around about 5pm. They said "bring him now". They did an exam and xray. Found he ate a bunch of hair ties. They strongly advised us to get them surgically removed ASAP. Since they could not do it, because they already had emergency surgery for another pet, they called around to local banfields. Another location pushed non emergency surgeries aside and got us in. We are great full for their efforts and level care Zenon recieved. He is now on his way to a full recovery. We greatly appreciate the staff for all they did and cannot recommend them enough.
