  If I lived here, Dr. Hilliard would be my full-time Animal Doctor. My Tippy (cat) had abscessed teeth & was in alot of pain. Dr. Hilliard saw him on the same day I called, then did surgery the next day. He was very friendly, quick & patient with a very upset cat. I'd recommend this clinic to everyone. Staff was friendly & very helpful. Thank you all so very much for helping my baby boy!! ❤️😊

  This was my first time at this vet. I have been to multiple but just couldn’t seem to find one I have absolutely loved. I called this vet because they had amazing reviews and as somebody who values reviews, I am writing my own to help others who might be looking for a good vet as well! When I called, I wasn’t put on hold at all and stated I needed to make an appointment as soon as possible for my baby. She gave me an availability option for the very next day. Whenever I actually went in, the people were extremely welcoming and explained everything very well. You could definitely tell they value their job. Dr.Hilliard even let me know that if I had any questions, I could call or email him at any time which was amazing because I have never seen a Dr do that. They also give you this super cool app where you can create a portfolio for your pup to check on everything he has had and his upcoming appointments and times. I think it’s so cool! I think this will be his forever vet😊

  We love Houston Veterinary Clinic. We’ve been coming for over 6 years. Dr. Hilliard listens to us, answers our questions, and is available after hours if needed. We value his opinion and expertise.

  I can't express how wonderful Houston Veterinary Clinic is. We have never been patients of theirs but started calling every vet open while we waited for ours to call us back. Our elderly dog had been going down hill for a while and had a fall she couldn't get up from this time. We knew it was time to let her go. They told us to bring her up there right away. They had so much compassion towards my husband and our Abby girl. He was not handling loosing his companion of almost 12 years very well. I'm so thankful he found them. I can't thank them enough for helping us when we were desperate. I appreciate and cherish the paw prints they got for us. Abby girl was a wonderful dog and we miss her very much.

  Our fur baby Artemis started having seizures a few weeks ago and when I called them they got me in that day and treated our puppy dog. She went three weeks and no seizures and out of no where she had them again, of course it happened on a Friday, he immediately got her on some new medication but she continued to have them. I remember that he had told me he put his cell phone number on the paperwork he gave me and told me to call him if there was anything we needed. Things got worse and I called him and he answered my call and made the decision to put her on a new medication but wasn't sure if we would be able to get the prescription that evening, he pulled off the rode and got the medication into our pharmacy and we were able to get the medication for Artemis at 8:30 in the evening. Her seizures stopped by the next day and she was only having little ticks, her appetite is great and she up moving around, she can get up down our steps except when she has first had her medication ( makes her loopy). What he did for our fur baby is truly amazing and inspiring of the type of veterinarian and human he is. Thank you for being our puppy dog Hero. Thank you to all of his staff for being amazing through this journey. The Jones Family
