We had an emergency situation on a Saturday for one of our cats and Dr Knox fit us in and ended up doing emergency surgery. The team then took amazing post op care of our boy. We’ve since started bringing all of our animals here. They treat our babies like their own. We will ALWAYS recommend Houston Veterinary Clinic.

The staff could be more welcoming, especially in a veterinary clinic where clients are often stressed or concerned about their pets. I was told my total would be $259 and paid with my card. Afterward, I noticed an additional $10 charge for using a card, which was never communicated to me beforehand. I believe it’s important for front desk staff to clearly inform clients of any additional fees before processing payment. Update: After posting my review, the veterinarian personally reached out to me to address my concerns, which I truly appreciated. He was very kind, took the time to listen, and worked with me to resolve the issue. I want to emphasize that the veterinary care itself was excellent and I felt my pet was genuinely well cared for. My original concern was related only to front desk communication regarding fees, and I appreciate that this was acknowledged and handled professionally. I’m glad the situation was resolved and I appreciate the effort made to ensure a positive experience overall.

I called Houston Veterinary Clinic, and they saw her the very same day. Since then, they have cared for all of my pets with outstanding attention and compassion. On another occasion, I was out of town and needed my dog seen urgently. Even though they were close to closing, they told me to come right in. My son took her, and the staff handled everything with genuine care and thoughtfulness. I wholeheartedly recommend Houston Veterinary Clinic to anyone looking for compassionate, reliable veterinary care.
