After being with this vet for almost 3 years today I realized that they are just lazy or just don’t care. Don’t come here if u have a reactive animal they will not care. Out of all the times I’ve been there it was fine I guess but I honestly only went here cuz I was paying the wellness plan. Today was the reason I canceled that plan. They know my dogs history on being fearful aggressive especially at the vet yet they never try to accommodate for her. In fact I feel like they are more annoyed whenever I come with her rather than trying to help. And I always end up uncomfortable. They always ask me whenever I come in if I trained her, like reactivity takes alot of time to work on it’s not gonna get fixed overnight . I’m already stressed as is I shouldn’t have to worry about my dogs freaking doctor judging me. Today they refused to do her annual because she was “lashing out”at them. Tell me why this all happened in under 4 mins, did you guys even try at all to work with her or did you just hold her down and make her even more nervous. Because from what I could HEAR in the room it sounded like my dog was frustrated and was being held down. Either way I don’t like the fact that they didn’t even care to take the time to work with her. When the other Dr took care of my dog they were always able to handle her. To me it sounded like they just held her down right away and she was probably freaking out which made the dr just wanna be lazy and not work on her. My dog has no bite history but I still put a muzzle on her and she does great at groomers because they are patient and work with her, but everytime I come to THIS vet she always panics. Which tells me all I need to know honestly. It’s crazy how a grooming place cares more about my dogs wellbeing than the actual VET. I came in on time for my appointment you could’ve at least given me more options to figure this out OR just let me come in with you and help yall out. To me it just sounds like they don’t know how to work with dogs or they’re just lazy and if that’s the case I wish they would’ve told me over the phone to not come in, it’s not like it’s ur first time seeing her. To add the cherry on top they’re still charging me for the wellness plan until next month even though I already paid this month. I understand if ur scared u can refuse service, but it’s ridiculous especially cause they’ve seen her before, if they were uncomfortable this whole time, they should’ve refused service over the phone. Complete waste of time.

After a traumatizing experience at another vet, where my dog was treated like just another number and the focus felt entirely on money, I had lost all trust in the veterinary system. I came into Dr. Sanders’ clinic with fear, grief, and skepticism, believing the heartbreaking stories that some vets are only in it for a paycheck. I only came as a last resort to save my dog. But Dr. Sanders and her staff changed everything. From the moment we walked through their doors, they treated our sweet Chewie as if she were their own dog. Every member of the team showed genuine empathy, not just for her, but for our entire family. When it came time to say goodbye, they didn’t rush us. They sat with us, cried with us, and held space for our pain in a way that was real, raw, and incredibly human. They didn’t just provide medical care — they guided us through one of the most painful experiences of our lives with patience, understanding, and love. Dr. Sanders helped us make the impossible decision with grace and dignity, and ensured that Chewie’s final moments were filled with peace and compassion. Thanks to them, I now know that there are still vets out there who do this work for the right reasons — who see the animals as family and treat their owners with heartfelt care. Thank you, Dr. Sanders, for restoring our faith, for honoring Chewie’s life, and for helping our family grieve with support and love. We will never forget what you did for us.

I’ve been coming here for years. Dr. Sanders and Dr. Cline are great! They care about the animals and I greatly appreciate the candid, straight forward communication. My Polar saw both of them through his life, and Dr. Sanders really helped me through Polars last year and was always so kind during my crying fits and questions. Now I’ve a new fur baby and will continue placing my trust in this practice.

My experience has left me feeling less than satisfied with the services received and interaction with the doctor and staff performing that service. My dog received his annual wellness exam and vaccinations. I was not told he may have a reaction to the meds which he did. 20 minutes after leaving the vet's office, my dog began vomiting prompting a call to the vet's office see if this was a normal reaction. The vet's office would not say if the vomiting was normal but told me to bring him back in. Upon arrival, I handed my dog over to a staff member who took him into a back room while I waited in the waiting room. A few minutes later, the vet came out and said my dog had a reaction to one of the vaccines and was given Cerenia and Diphenhydramine injections to treat the reaction. I was more than little surprised that I was not informed of the additional treatment/injections beforehand and felt I should have been. Adding insult to injury, I was charged for treatment that I had not approved of beforehand. I don't know if this is standard practice but something about it strikes me as wrong and not passing the smell test.
