Dusty does a great job with Honey Bee and Myself. She is a very crucial part of Petco and she is an amazing groomer, represents Petco with professionalism every time and is person who cares about what she does and who she represents. Thank you Dusty, all of the other groomers and I thank Petco in general. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I had to go to Bass pro shop since I didn't catch the Santa Claus at Petco. Hope you enjoy the picture!
- EBEbony BennettDec 6, 20251.0I have been coming to this Petco location since it first opened, and Sarina has been my groomer from the beginning. Unfortunately, my recent experience left me with a very bad impression. When it was time to check out, neither of the two associates knew how to properly complete my transaction. I had three Yorkies groomed and was trying to redeem my free groom reward—something I have always been able to do without issue. I was then introduced to Dusty, who mentioned she has 25 years of experience, yet she also did not know how to process it. She stated she would ask the General Manager, David, for guidance. When she returned, she told me that “Sarina may have been doing something wrong” and that rewards can only be redeemed per pet. This is incorrect, as your terms and conditions do not state that. I explained to Dusty that although Sarina is no longer with Petco, I was not going to stand there and allow anyone especially a manager to speak poorly about a former employee simply because they could not explain the system. Because of this interaction, and the dismissive and unprofessional attitude displayed, I will no longer be returning to this location. If your General Manager speaks this way about previous employees and sets that tone for new associates, it reflects a serious issue with leadership. Petco needs to ensure that its managers thoroughly understand your rewards program and terms and conditions. This experience has caused you to lose me as a loyal customer.
- IIiegm62Nov 28, 20251.0Sparkie had some tangles, so I was told that they needed to cut his fur and showed me the sample of it. When I picked him up, Sparkie was shaved (it wasn't like the sample). There is some areas that Sparkie has some fur and some other ones with no fur at all. Also, he got cuts on his skin. On top of that, his nails were not trimmed. It was done after I asked one of the associates if she could help me with it. She did it, but it was not what I expected. It was very bad. Now, Sparkie has no fur, has skin cuts, bad trimmed long and sharp nails and ear infection due to water getting into his ears during the bath. He is shaking his head very bad. Everything was closed on Thursday, so I will have to take him to the Vet office tomorrow Friday morning and of course the bill will be no less than $250. Guess who is going to pay for it. I will not go back to Petco ever!!!
- CMChris McLarenNov 26, 20255.0Carrie ? was terrific. Mercury loved the attention he got. I love the result. She did a great job. Not sure about the other groomers but all are friendly and it's reasonably priced. Make sure you have an appointment.
