Terrible service all about the money. I did nothing to help my dog. They just keep wanting me to come in and pay for a visit. I would never recommend them and I’ll go out of my way to let people know how terrible they are.

I've been going to Banfield out of convenience for a few years in various states that I have lived in, so not necessarily geared toward this location. However, I strongly suspected my dog had a UTI since she had them before, so I went in for a urinalysis. The Doc said her urine gravity/concentrate was low, which can be a strong indicator for kidney failure (allegedly). They asked me to pay $250 for blood work which I declined only after they called and said they got her MIXED UP with another dog who was scheduled for teeth cleaning, and that they SHAVED PART OF HER LEG. You read that correctly. I ended up finding a local place to re-do her urinalysis, and they confirmed a UTI. Not only trying almost making me pay $250 for failing to read or pay attention to her results, but shaving her leg is just unacceptable. Will not be going back there, ever.

My puppy had an appointment last week that I scheduled online. The office called me and said it was not a good time for them and rescheduled it for today. Unfortunately on the way there, we came up on traffic and arrived late. We live in rincon and there was an accident and the traffic was not expected. They told me I had to drop my dog off until 4:30 or bring her back at 3:30 when we live 40 mins away. I unfortunately work Monday through Thursday so to bring her back next Friday would be starting her vaccination over and I’d have to pay for them and that is not fair. The lady on the phone was not helpful at all. Did not seem to care. Had they not rescheduled my appointment in the first place, we wouldn’t even be here. All she said was it’s an issue with the online scheduling which is not my fault. The appointment itself takes 20 mins. And we didn’t mind waiting there or being worked in. But yet when we go to appointments we have to wait. Horrible experience and horrible customer service.
