  Go to PetSmart or order on Chewy/Amazon. Avoid this store. DO NOT sign up for the Vital Care plan. The manager talked me into renewing my vital care plan in September after I did the math and found it wasn't worth the money, without ever mentioning they now hid a 12 month commitment with no cancellation terms in the contract. I called support hoping to cancel and they said I will continue to pay the subscription until September 2026 and there is nothing they can do about it. I asked for them to send me evidence where I signed this policy and they couldn't provide proof I agreed to these terms. It's pet food and litter not a lease on an apartment. Locking people into these subscriptions with no explicit explanation of these terms is absurd. A 30 day cancellation notice is standard for most contracts. No cancellations throughout the term length is a money grab. Do not sign up for the vital care plan and do not spend money at this location.

  I usually go to the Petco on Cobb Pwky. I was referred here by my local staff because they don’t have a vet office and I needed medication for my cat who’s suffering from hepatic lipidosis. Unfortunately, the front desk assistant with the very large septum ring, labret piercing, and the hair… was not hospitable or kind to me. She spoke as if I should be familiar with the Vetco policies on meds. -And her tone appeared as if I was bothering her by asking clarifying questions. I am very kind to service workers, as I’m familiar with the service industry. I really wish I would have asked someone else. I was completely taken aback by her attitude, as I’ve experienced great costumer service at other locations. I noticed some other reviews mentioning her and hope she pauses for some reflection on how she treats others. I’m extremely saddened by the service I received today and decided not to continue with any of my purchases at this location. When you’re dealing with something as fragile as sickness, you’d expect individuals in this realm to be empathic and considerate when speaking to others. Not to make little disparaging comments to customer seeking assistance in a time of need. Please do better young lady, and communicate to others with the integrity and respect you’d like from others.
