When my redbone coonhound ,Anna, suddenly became very sick, they didn’t hesitate to make us a priority—even as a walk-in. From the moment we arrived, the entire team was professional, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain every step of the process clearly and patiently, making sure I understood what was happening and why certain treatments were needed. Their willingness to go above and beyond, both in care and communication, truly set them apart. Thanks to their quick action and skilled team, my girl underwent emergency surgery—and she’s now doing great! I’m beyond grateful for their expertise, kindness, and dedication. I highly recommend Westmoreland and Slappey Animal Hospital to anyone looking for veterinarians who genuinely care about both pets and their people.

I would’ve rated them a five however, when I inquired about cost, I was told it would be about $75. When in fact the cost was three times that amount ~$250. I would have liked a courtesy call to discuss those additional tests/costs. Especially for a senior on limited income. Otherwise, the staff and facility were great.

The staff is always friendly and sweet with my fur babies. The wait is never long there. For as long as I live in the area I will not bring my kitties to anyone else. You guys are the best! ❤️

They accommodated me and put me on the schedule within a hour of my phone call. Dr. Paulk was amazing and very friendly. He made my visit easier than I imagined it would be. My boy was comfortable and I was at ease! Thank you so much for making this transition easier
