  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Banfield Pet Hospital in Peachtree City, GA. I called on Wednesday, February 11th to have a prescription filled for my dog. I was told the medication would be ready and that the hospital closes at 6:00 PM on Thursdays. I explained that I would pick it up on Thursday, February 12th, and was told that would be fine. Today, I drove 1 hour and 15 minutes from my job to get there and arrived at 5:50 PM, well before the stated closing time. When I arrived, the hospital was already closed. A front desk staff member informed me that they leave early if they don’t have any patients. This is completely unacceptable. I arrived before closing, as I was told, and made a significant effort to be there on time. This is unfair not only to me, but to my dog who needs this medication. If a business advertises a closing time, customers should be able to rely on it, especially when it involves pet care and prescriptions. I would not recommend this location based on this experience. Clear communication and consistency are essential, and unfortunately, neither was provided here.

  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Banfield Hospital in Peachtree City. After my appointment was canceled on Friday, I was told I would be “squeezed in” on Saturday (12/20/25). The cancellation happened because they advised me to take my other dog to the ER for respiratory issues, which I completely understood. However, my oldest dog still urgently needed to be seen for an ear and skin infection. I asked if my dog could stay while I returned later to pick him up, but that option was denied. Instead, I was assured multiple times that if I called the next day, they would work me into the Saturday schedule. I made it very clear that this was not ideal due to my tight schedule, but I agreed based solely on their promise. When I called the following day, I was told they could not get me in at all. This was incredibly frustrating and felt misleading, especially given the urgency of my dog’s condition and the assurances I was given beforehand. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. I have experienced several ongoing issues with this location, and this was the final straw. I need a dependable and committed care team for my older dogs, and Banfield in Peachtree City has consistently fallen short. I will be canceling my care plan and would not recommend this location to anyone seeking reliable veterinary care.
