My dog got the vaccination package, and the vet tech's were great with him. He was happy and we had no problems. Therefore, I am happy. Thank you! This is the second time I scheduled vaccines with the Barrett Parkway Vetco, Marietta Store. I will definitely go back. He picked out one of those weird looking, squeaking, bird stuffed animals. A pic of him below after dinner and playtime laying on his new toy :)

Nothing like spending a Saturday at Petco waiting in line. Finally a second cashier slow walked up.

Please avoid this grooming place at all cost. I told them clearly to keep as much fur as they can and not shave my dog to the skin but they shaved her up completely without even checking with me. This behavior is completely unprofessional and it will take several months for my dog to have their hair back. you will regret sending your dog for grooming here.

Starting off this comment to preface and let everyone know my family's background with fish. We have owned both salt and regular Aquariums. Since I was 3 years old we had betas. That was 34 years ago. Right now my family has successfully run and properly chemically balanced a coy pond and several fish tanks around the house. To say we know how to take care of fish and care well for animals in general is an understatement. My dad and brother went into petco tonight interested in purchasing a beta fish- with all the equipment sitting at home waiting for a new fish. Equipped with a full scope of understanding on what the fish needs and how to accommodate it. My father was telling the employee with dark black hair and a nose ring about how he had a family member who maintained a beta for 12 years that lived in a glass bowl. If she knew about betas- who are well kept- she would know they can live up to 15 years. She called him a liar about their ability to thrive in a glass bowl and their normal life spans. She managed to dismiss the unlikely, but true, story - also telling them she refused to sell a beta to them with equipment sitting here at home waiting to be set up for it. Mind you, we are well educated on the process of transferring fish appropriately. The best part about this story is that while this "expert aquarium employee" was talking down to 2 people who run this house like a machine when it comes to the well being of our fish- she had a DEAD CLOWN FISH just floating in one of her tanks. She was condescending, rude, and clearly wanted to run away potentially good customers because my brother is making store runs weekly if not daily for the maintenance of his fish. She wanted to be so right and correct in her understanding- it meant more to her than making a sell. With the way these tanks are maintained at her store, I find it hard to believe she cared about the fate of the beta they wanted to purchase for a caring home. I also might mention he owns lizards, snakes, tarantulas- so his knowledge of tanks and equipment isn't that of the regular joe. Then I come on here and see the last comment is about how god awful the tanks are kept there? Insult to injury. Talking down to clients/customers all while a dead fish floats around for god and everyone to see. You need to talk to nose ring girl and tell her to get it together so someone can pay her hourly check because the way it looks- this place looks and sounds like a dump no one would ever want to come to. I am disgusted. Needless to say, they got a beta at another store and are setting up its wonderful new tank for it. Missed opportunity, Lost customers, horrible experience- so on. This is one of the only stores that needs to be "in person" experience and it sounds like the employee needs to not make assumptions or talk condescending to people who have been handling and taking care of fish for 3 decades- seeing them outlive "normal" life spans of fish. Disgusting. Refusing to sell is a potential discrimination and who knows if the next customer might press for a lawsuit. She had no way of proving who does and does not have tanks set up at home or what level of knowledge any customer has. Sounds like she just wants to send away customers while she should be focused on the dying fish in the tanks she maintaining. The irony.
