  I've brought all 3 of my cats here and I've been so pleased with the service and treatment. Amber and the staff truly love the fur babies that come in, and the vet techs treat them with the same care as us fur parents. I drive all the way from Baldwin County and look forward to continuing to use Hudspeth when we move to Macon. 🐾

  First time to Hudspeth as we are new to area. We took a stray dog that was hit by a car to get help, and everyone from reception to the doctor provided outstanding customer service!! When we get settled, we will definitely be bringing our 3 dogs and cat there.

  Incredible experience dealing with our dog. We’re not clients, but our dog dislocated his right knee on Christmas Eve. Our regular vet was closed. Dr. Giles agreed to see us that morning. He popped the knee back into place and gave us pain medicine. Our dog is doing so much better. Thank you, Dr. Giles and Hudspeth Animal Hospital.

  I was in a very emotional situation with having to put down my partner Buddy on a weekend. My normal vet was not available and my wife found Hudspeth. I cannot tell you the professional and compassionate experience I had. Dr Gen and his assistant treated me and my dog partner with compassion and professionalism that was beyond any expectations. I had not used Hudspeth in over 40 years due to location but that was a huge mistake. This experience was far beyond reasonable expectations. Thank you Dr Gen and staff for your gracious treatment.

  I brought my cat in on Saturday because she was holding her ear down. After an exam, I was told she didn’t have an ear infection, but I was still sent home with a “steroid ear wash,” an antihistamine, and a supplement. When I looked at the bottle at home, the wash they prescribed was not a steroid wash at all but rather it was an antifungal ear flush, even though my cat had no fungal infection. I routinely clean my pets’ ears myself, so I genuinely don’t understand why an antifungal product was given unless it was simply to sell me additional items. It didn’t stop there. The supplement they provided was supposed to be given orally, but the instructions they gave me in the office were to apply it on my cat’s skin. I only learned this was completely incorrect after calling another veterinarian for clarification. In the meantime, my sick and stressed cat was left smelling like fish oil because of how I was told to use it, which made her even more anxious. I called the office to ask why I was given an antifungal wash if my cat didn’t have a fungal infection, and they couldn’t give me an answer. When I asked why they told me to apply an oral supplement onto her skin, they just said, “Oh no, it’s oral,” with no real acknowledgment of the mistake. Their tone made it seem like they were annoyed I called at all, and they simply told me someone would “call me back,” without reassurance. This experience left me feeling like there was a lack of care, accuracy, and accountability. These were not small mistakes and if I hadn’t questioned them, I would have continued administering the wrong treatment to my sick pet.
