  If you care about your fur babies, stay away from Banfield! We adopted a YorkiePoo from Walton County Animal Shelter. She is a puppy and will be 1 yr in May of this year. We took her to Paradox to have her spayed. They called me and stated they could not perform the surgery due to a serious heart murmur and she would need a cardiovascular workup. We then took her to our Vet - Summit Chase (Dr. Linda Marchman - the best Vet ever!). She examined our sweet girl and stated the heart murmur was very severe and recommended we take her to Woodlands for a cardiovascular workup. We have an appointment the end of May to have her seen at Woodlands. I then went to Banfield to get her medical records to take with her. They had given her every vaccine and anything you can possibly think of but guess what? No indication of any heart murmur. I questioned the person at the desk. She had no answers. This adoption happened the end of March. She was last seen at Banfield - Loganville in December 2025. How in the WORLD DID THEY MISS THIS SEVERE HEART MURMUR????? I will tell you - because they are not qualfied to treat animals. If you love your fur babies - take them to a qualfied Vet! This place should be shut down!!!! Her name was Snickerz which has now been changed. I have just emailed to Banfield Cares - a copy of Snickerz's records at Banfield with numerous vaccines given to her and not one indication of a serious heart murmur being diagnosed. Waiting to see their response.

  Vicky is a great employee here. She is always kind and nice to talk to. She does her hardest to help customers. I have watched people be rude to her and she handles it with grace and kindness. This lady deserves a raise. We come in there a lot because we have multiple dogs over the years. All the others here are also nice as well, but just wanted to give a special shoutout for her. Thank yall for everything u do for our dogs.

  On Monday, after my pet’s appointment, I requested a written prescription so I could fill it through Chewy. Once home, I remembered that another Banfield location in the immediate Gwinnett area previously informed me of their price match option and has honored it on multiple prescriptions over the past year (as I have taken my dogs to both locations over the past four years). On Tuesday morning, I called this location to request a price match instead. I was told to come in, which I did. Upon arrival, I was informed that the location manager, Erica stated the “vendor does not allow price matching" and I could pay full price if I wanted it filled. This directly contradicts my repeated experience with other corporate Banfield Pet Hospital locations nearby that clearly do honor Chewy price matches. Given the inconsistency, I chose to leave and submit the prescription directly to Chewy. To be clear, I fully understand paying higher pricing when medication is urgently needed. However, when a corporate price match option exists and is actively honored at other area locations, it should be applied consistently. As a client maintaining three active wellness plans each month, I expect transparency and alignment with corporate standards. The larger concern here is not the price difference it is the inconsistent application of policy and the explanation provided. I would appreciate clarification from district or regional leadership regarding whether Chewy price matching is permitted and, if so, why it is selectively applied at this location. Consistency and customer trust matter.
