  I was just there with a friend trying to get some guppies. I understand accidents happen but the guy taking care of us crushed the guppy against the tank paralyzing it, then proceeds to offer a discount on it. When it come to fish you have to be delicate and observant to make sure you don't hurt them. I felt it was very inappropriate to even offer a discount knowing the fish was going to have a slow death. It really shook me to the point where I just had to leave. These animals deserve better, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem. A life is a life.

  Do not take your dog to get groomed here I am now canceling my membership with Petco. I took my dog to get groomed , not even 10 minutes later they call me to tell me I needed to pick up my dog immediately because he was “ showing teeth “ at them. And that they could not do the service due to the fact they couldn’t even get him out the crate. He was fine before he arrived. It was not his first time getting groomed. He is still a puppy he is 8 months old , sometimes he has a bit of anxiety but with a little loving and talking to him correctly he will feel at home and overcome that. My dog has NEVER been aggressive. Never growls never bites. Good with people, kids , other dogs. I’m CONVINCED they treated him Poorly getting him in the crate , which made him afraid of them and is the reason he was so scared. When I arrived to pick him up they made me go get him from the crate and he seemed so afraid. The women over the phone said Petco would not see him anymore if he kept doing that in the future, but when picked up she said I needed to take him more often. I wished they had cameras to see how this staff is handling our pets.

  very disappointed to see Petco still keeping Bettas together. I brought it up to a worker, because Betta sororities are not proper Betta keeping and is extremely controversial, and she just kept saying that they're females so it's okay. I tried to explain to her how it was wrong and even pointed out a Betta nipping at a, to which she said they were "playing." She tried to explain why it was okay but didn't seem to really understand what she was talking about. No fault to her, the owner/managers should know better. Petco should not be trying to encourage novice pet owners to keep these extremely difficult conditions (that being a Betta sorority). Extremely upset that the owner or any of the workers seem to not care. Petco struggles to keep their tanks clean so I can't imagine they're monitoring these Bettas the way they should.

  the products are great but the drivers for the delivery do not use common sense. They left both of my boxes in the rain when I have a overhand in my front porch .
