I spent money and time here just to be disrespected by the doctor. The way she talked to me and disconnected the call was ruthless. What occurred here goes beyond a simple disagreement — it revealed an imbalance in how power is understood and exercised within this practice. When individuals in clinical roles have not developed emotional regulation or self-awareness, they often confuse authority with control. In my interaction with both the doctor and the staff, this confusion was evident. I approached the conversation grounded in informed autonomy. I maintain a vegan lifestyle and raise my daughter with the same values. My intention was to discuss her care through a collaborative, evidence-based lens. The moment I did not defer my judgment to their titles, defensiveness emerged. My self-agency was not met with curiosity or respect, but with resistance. A doctorate may represent formal education, but it does not supersede an individual’s sovereignty over their own life, decisions, or understanding of their child’s needs. I am the authority in my life. Their credentials outline a scope of practice, not dominion over the patient. The emotional response I encountered was not about medicine — it was about ego protection. When someone has not cultivated inner stability, another person’s certainty can feel confrontational. This is how unexamined power meets perceived threat. Instead of regulating through dialogue, the staff ended the conversation abruptly, prioritizing emotional discomfort over patient care. If this establishment genuinely prioritized animal health and well-being, collaboration would not only be possible — it would be foundational. True care requires humility, presence, and the ability to co-think. I did not witness that here. I was not treated as a concerned mother seeking “HELP” for my baby.

I LOVE this place and everyone in it. I have been coming there with my furbaby cat Loki since I adopted him as a tiny kitten and have never had a single bad experience. I can be really crazy sometimes thinking something might be wrong because I’m new to the cat mom world and they have never made me feel foolish or that I waisted their time. I’ve had free advice over the phone and emergency appointments squeezed in when they were fully booked. I come through the door and always get a smile and a hello no matter what and the vet and the staff every where always treat my baby and me like gold. Couldn’t pay me to change to another place.

Every one here was so kind and helpful. Got my dog in and out for a constipation issue and didn’t overcharge. Both Dr. Morgan and her assistant Jason were amazing. The front desk staff Karen was also quick in getting us rescheduled. Definitely will be returning.
