After going a couple times and looking at my bank account I saw I was charged a separate fee on top of what I paid in-store. I was told the $35 membership I was paying was included in the service, but not in a clear way, to where I knew it was going to be drafted out separately. I paid $69 ( with tip) for my little 6 lbs mini schnauzer for his cut then the separate charge of $35 was drafted without my knowledge. I swiped my card in-store thinking the membership price was being taken out then, but no it was a totally separate charge I was unaware was being drafted from my account. I called to dispute and explained this was confusing for customers and it was still explained to me in a "sales tactic way" instead of just being honest that it's a separate billing charge like they should explain when you're paying. The a simple phrase "now expect another $35 fee for memeship chargers to come out of your account" would have been a nice heads up than the gotcha I saw when I looked through my bank transaction actions. I looked through the reviews and this happened to others too. They need to just be honest and stop selling memberships that are literally you paying for a $35 bath, teeth, nails, and ear cleaning and is not included in the price you actually pay in store. I thought I would clarify since they won't and will just keep repeating the services included in the "membership" price which is just things included in any other grooming. I hope you guys learn to better communicate this with your clients.
