Very good service , and the facility is clean. Front desk ladies are very friendly and helpful. The Dr. took a lot of time looking over our Blue Heeler. Was very pleased again for taking our dogs there. Have 2 we take there!

I took my cat here after concerning symptoms. At my first visit, I was told she had a case of gastritis. They gave her fluids under the skin and a shot for nausea. There was absolutely no improvement overnight so I took her back the following day. I was then told, after bloodwork was done that should’ve been done the previous visit, that she had a virus causing a bit of an infection. The same treatment was given with fluids, anti nausea medication, and a vitamin B12 shot was added. I specifically asked the vet if this was something serious and given a confident “no I don’t believe so”. I was sent home with Walmart cat treats to tempt her into eating. I tried to give them to her around 4 pm and she wouldn’t eat them. Wouldn’t drink. I started googling and it turns out my cat had all symptoms of pancreatitis, with the exception of jaundice which is a final and alarming symptom. The blood work that was done showed elevated enzymes in the liver and a low white blood cell count. After researching, these two factors with the presence of her particular symptoms EVERYTHING I found online suggested she definitely has pancreatitis. Why they didn’t suggest this, or suggest testing for it is beyond me. I called around 4:30 yesterday to ask if the bloodwork they did would rule out pancreatitis. I was told a vet or technician would call me back before closing. No call came so I called at about 5:20. The woman who answered the phone seemed incredibly rushed and wouldn’t even let me finish full sentences. Had a major attitude and let me know the Drs had left for the day, despite me practically begging for a call back to get some answers. She kept talking over me and assuming she knew what I was asking and I kept having to interrupt her interrupting me to clarify. I finally got mad and hung up because it was frustrating beyond belief. After taking her to another vet today, it was confirmed within an hour she’s got pancreatitis. One vet found the problem within an hour while Wolf couldn’t find it in 2 visits, and almost $500 later. My issue now is I spent all that money on two visits at Wolf, the vet visit today confirming the pancreatitis ate up my last bit of funds and I cannot afford treatment for her. Had Wolf done a more thorough job at the FIRST VISIT and diagnosed the issue, I would’ve had enough money at the time for treatment. Now I am feeding her water through a dropper and praying to God she pulls out of this after their negligence. I will be telling everyone at the dog park and anyone who will listen not to visit this vet. Make the trip and take your animal to Hinesville or Baxley.

We had such a great experience with Wolfe Animal Hospital and are incredibly grateful for their team.
After a very unfortunate misdiagnosis at another vet in pooler our mama dog Bailey was dealing with severe mastitis and getting worse. We were stressed and knew something wasn’t right. Wolfe Animal Hospital got us in without an appointment, saw her immediately, and quickly diagnosed the issue correctly.
They got her started on the right treatment right away, and within 24 hours she was already feeling noticeably better. The difference was night and day.
This experience alone says everything about the level of care they provide—attentive, knowledgeable, and truly focused on helping your pet. We’re so thankful we found them and will absolutely be using them moving forward.
Highly recommend to anyone needing a vet who actually listens and takes action.just adding some photos of the pups and momma ! How cute are they!
