- EHEverything HarborMar 24, 20265.0This visit was my third. I have always found this place clean and well staffed, even on my first 'surprise' visit for a tour. They evaluate dogs for size and safety for day care and have an excellent facility for that. Today's visit was for grooming. My pup needed TLC due to uneven hair after surgery shaves and trimming burrs after walks outdoors. The groomer did a wonderful job considering what she had to work with and followed my request for areas to skip. I must add that I literally drive past a similar business to reach this place because I find this one to be the superior of the two.

They also offer grooming and i have had them clip her nails. My vet wanted to sedate her, but the groomers here did it without issues. I only wish they had a live video feed in the outdoor area, so I could check in on her.

My dog was injured by the staff they treated me as though it’s my fault if you’re looking for long term service I highly doubt you’ll make it 6months without an issue! What vaccinations does my dog need?
To keep our resort a safe and healthy place for dogs, we require vaccinations for rabies, distemper combo, and Bordetella. We also highly recommend the canine influenza vaccinations.
When can I drop off and pick up my pet?
Please feel free to drop off your pet any time during our normal business hours. We’re open Monday through Friday from 7am-7pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 2pm.
Are reservations required?
In order to keep our facility one of the safest in the area, we depend on having the right level of staffing for the number of dogs every day. For this reason, we do require reservations for all of our services.
Can I tour the facility?
We’d love to show you our resort! Please visit us any time during our operating hours, and a staff member will guide you on a tour.
Can I bring my pet’s own food?
To keep your pet on the diet they’re accustomed to, we ask you to please bring their usual food bagged and labeled per serving. We can also provide our house food at no extra charge.
Can I bring my pet’s toys?
We have more than enough fun, safe toys to go around and sanitize them regularly. Please leave your pet’s toys at home.
I’m nervous about boarding my pet. How do you keep the pets safe and healthy?
At Dog Mountain, all staff members are specially trained to check on your furry family member multiple times daily to ensure they’re doing well and feeling loved, just like at home. Please talk to us about customizing the perfect stay for your pet when making your reservation.
I have multiple dogs, can they stay together?
Doggie siblings are welcome to lodge together in our large accommodations. Give us a call to get your fur family’s stay started.
Can you accommodate special needs pets?
Dog Mountain can accommodate pets with many kinds of special needs. Please call us to discuss how we can accommodate your pet. We’ll consult with your pet’s veterinarian to determine if our resort is the best place for your pet to stay.

Yes! In fact, many cats benefit from activity just as much as dogs when they’re away from home. We have multiple play and enrichment options including cuddle time, toys, and special treats. Call us to learn more.
Do you require a trial evaluation?
We keep our daycare program as safe as possible by ensuring our guests are comfortable with a social play environment. Your dog’s first day is an “introduction day,” free of charge, where we get to observe your pet’s preferred play styles and determine if they’re a good fit for the group. If your pup seems to prefer playing with the staff, we have a personal play
program just for dogs like him/her.
What will my dog be doing at daycare?
The short answer is—whatever makes them happy! We provide a safe place, fun toys, and room to roam, and the dogs choose what to do next. Whether it’s romp across the yards, explore the playground, splash in the pool or nap in the sun, daycare at Dog Mountain Pet Resort is where dogs rule—under our watchful care, of course!

Yes, we’d love for you to see our resort. Please visit us during our operating hours to go on a guided tour with a knowledgeable staff member.
My dog doesn’t like to play with other dogs, would they still enjoy daycare?
We appreciate that some dogs would rather play with people than with the “pack.” Our personal play program includes one-on-one playtime with a staff member so your pup can have tons of fun doing whatever they like most. They’ll enjoy all the fun of our play yards, pools, playground and toys while soaking up the undivided attention of a caregiver.

Yes, we’d love to introduce your puppy to grooming. We believe it’s important to bring your dog for their first grooming appointment early in life so they can get accustomed to the sights, sounds, and handling of the salon.

Most of our grooming clients like to have their pets receive multiple treatments while they’re with us. We’ve developed several convenient grooming packages to cover the most important services. The most popular is our Premium Bath package which includes a luxurious bath, brush out, and nail trim.
