I have to say, the promptness and responsiveness at this location has decreased significantly over the years. The front desk team is fine. It’s the Doctors. You have questions about what to do or what was done? Good luck getting a response. You want to speak with the vet in person? Good luck. They will have your pet for a procedure and tell you they will keep you updated. 8 hours later, you’ll have to call to see what’s going on only to be told they haven’t done all that they want to do and still need another hour. You show up at the time they told you to be there to pick up your pet only to be sitting there for 20-30 minutes because they still aren’t done! I’ve had my dog on their wellness plan for 10 years and I’m highly considering moving back to the Buford location or going elsewhere in general. The lack of person to person contact and communication is terrible. And this is coming from someone who used to work at a vet.

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had with Banfield, even after visiting locations in more than six different states. At the Flowery Branch, Georgia location, I was truly impressed. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Noel, an outstanding veterinarian who clearly loves what he does. My dog felt safe and comfortable with him in a way I have never seen before. From start to finish, he provided compassionate, attentive, and highly professional care, treating my little one with genuine dedication. Please extend my sincere gratitude to Dr. Noel and his entire team. Their care made a meaningful difference for us.

Disappointed and frustrated are two words to describe my recent experience with this vet. I have been a Banfield client for a while now and pay monthly for optimal wellness plans for two of my dogs. I have ignored the lack of communication I receive from the vets when I bring my dogs and felt some appreciation for the girls up front checking me out who try their best to explain what they do know of my pet’s problems to me. With both of my dogs being younger in age and without a multitude of health care problems I try my best to be an easy client and not cause too much of a fuss because I feel my needs are less than others. HOWEVER, one issue that I have always had with this vet that has progressively gotten worse and has now pushed me over my limit is the lack of response to refill requests. Trying to maintain my dog’s good health should not be this difficult. I attempted to purchase/ request my dogs’ monthly oral heart worm preventative through the BANFIELD online pharmacy on NOVEMBER 12. The vet still has not approved the medication so that it can be shipped and today is 11/26/25. I have called multiple times to ask if there is something I can do to speed along the process and I always get the same response from the girl who answers the phone, “unfortunately, I do not have the capability of approving medications, the vet is currently unavailable, but I will leave a note for them to approve that for you as soon as they can.” The last time I called on Monday, 11/24, I was told that a note had been left on the vet’s desk but that the vet wasn’t there. I feel completely ignored and am shocked that 14 days later, I am still waiting for approval for something as basic as a HEART WORM PREVENTATIVE. Something tells me that with tomorrow being Thanksgiving, getting approval by the end of this week is unlikely. With my OWP yearly renewal coming up, there is a VERY high possibility I will NOT be renewing.

When you have an animal that is suffering and in pain, not eating. I have already taken my cat to other vets for treatment but I can no longer afford surgery that is needed. They refused to euthanize a suffering animal because it can be “treated”. Mind you treatment is over $2000 and not everybody can afford such. I have also previous taken my cat to them the first time to diagnose issue and they prescribed nothing but pain pills that did not work and charge you an arm and a leg. All they do is prescribe pills to take your money. They don’t actually care or want to help your animal. Never will I use a banfield hospital again for any pet medical needs.

Worst vet clinic ever. Staff is rude and very misleading. If you drop your dog off in the morning be prepared for them to sit in a kennel all day with zero communication. My dog came how and drank water frantically so I’m sure he wasn’t given any while there for over 7 hours! Manager is the rudest person I have ever spoken to.
