I went to Banfield Hospital on the la Vista Road in Tucker, Georgia The initial care with everyone was fine. The doctor was kind of questionable. I received a prescription that wasn’t signed which I couldn’t use so then I decided to go through PetSmart to use a prescription at that time. This is day number five they have still not gotten to the prescription I find the lack in. Through with them in the Medical was just terrible. They try to upsell you to one of their cares. I found that to be a little aggressive and not what I really needed at that time after what they told me I would not suggest using this for your animal for nothing I don’t. I really think it’s more about the money Even though this was the first time free visit, I Wouldn’t pay a second time I also wanted to add they gave me the opportunity to come in to get the Would’ve been fine except I went a long way like 35 miles to that visit at that time. I asked if we transferred to medication to one of the officers closer to me that wasn’t a possibility I really As this before, not being able just for me to pick up medication at another location, this is not a place that’s in it with the animal or the families is in it with their selves

I brought my 8 week old puppy in for JUST a physical exam; my breeder required the dog be seen by a vet within 3 days of purchase to validate the health guarantee and my regular vet wasn't available so I decided to give this place a try as its closer to the house and convenient to other shopping. After being pushed their subscription service and declined vaccines, as the breeders vet advised waiting until 9 weeks for his next round, they took my unvaccinated puppy back without his carrier. We were there waiting for him to just simply be looked over by the vet for an hour and a half and heard him screaming from a kennel up until the last 15 minutes. We received a sopping wet dog back as they attempted to sell us on a new prescription food, antidiarreal pills, and an appetite stimulate because we reported 1 or 2 loose stools during his current food transition, as again we had just purchased him, and we couldn't even actually talk to the vet that saw him to ask why but the tech said the vet did not note any issues.
**it is very common for puppies to have some mild GI upset from new food, it's not generally something one would need medical intervention for
The care was sub-par, the wait was needlessly lengthy compared to experiences from similar services at VETCO, and they were VERY pushy for sales of any kind.
The gentleman at the front counter was courtious and polite, and thats unfortunately the only somewhat nice thing I can say about my experience.

If I could give them no stars I would. I made an appointment for my puppy on Wednesday, 9/10 through their website for SATURDAY! They allowed 2 whole days to go by which is Friday 9/12, to tell me they had to reschedule or refer me somewhere else. This is so inconsiderate!!! Why wait the day before? Plus the excuse was “The doctor goes to lunch at noon.” THEN WHY IS IT ON THE WEBSITE TO BOOK! I don’t recommend anyone to this location. There is no reason why they waited till last minute to cancel. I could’ve made other arrangements. Please seek other locations or a different company for pet services.

We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
