  I’m not one to leave google reviews but this store deserves its recognition. I manage in customer service, and I believe his name is Zach and I forget the cashiers name, but they both exude not only loving their job, but the animals they care for. I went in for a fish, and ended up with a bearded dragon. Not because they came and hounded me, just a simple let me know if you need help. I watched this little bearded dragon get bullied by another bearded dragon and decided I wanted to take care of it. Zach is extremely knowledgeable beyond the generic QR code instructions and simple packets included in the terrarium kits. The only suggestion I give to Zach, and maybe just because I’m sure he may have never opened these kits himself, tell customers they should buy more decorations for the kit. It doesn’t come with much beyond the bowls for food and a small branch, but I did end up getting more when I put everything together. Zach and the cashier, I forget her name, made sure I was signed up with an account to make sure I got every deal possible. Brought me a charger for my phone because mine was deal, called IT to make sure my account was set up properly, so on and so on. They are perfect examples of why petco is a better choice.

  One of my cichlids was stressed and I called to get some help. The representatives were more than helpful to me!! Got what I needed and very knowledgeable about animals(fish). I come there frequently and the customer service is excellent, they know their craft!! Thank you !!! He is much better!!!!

  Very dissatisfied with my most recent experience at this Petco location. I placed a curbside order. When notified that my order was ready for pickup I parked near the entrance and notified the store through the app that I was “here” as directed. No one ever came out with my order. When I went inside to retrieve my order, I felt overlooked and disregarded as I told two associates I had a CURBSIDE pickup order and no one came even acknowledged the fact that curbside means an associate come out to you. Zach, was friendly but Mike, I believe was his name, who got my order (after stating he was looking for was water bottle before even helping…) barely acknowledged me, got my name, asked if I was parked out front, which again I stated that I had to park because no one came out to bring my CURBSIDE order, gave me a shopping cart and I took my order out myself. What’s the point in selecting curbside pickup if I have to go inside the store anyway? Very disappointing.

  From the moment our Bernedoodle, Joey, was a puppy, Rika has been his groomer at Petco—and I truly cannot say enough amazing things about her. Over the past year+, she has gone above and beyond every single visit. She wasn’t just focused on grooming; she genuinely cared about Joey’s overall health and well-being. Anytime she noticed something that might need attention, she always took the time to let me know and encouraged me to follow up with his vet. That level of care and attention meant the world to us. Rika is incredibly friendly, professional, and has the kind of personality that instantly puts both pets and parents at ease. Joey absolutely adored her. He was never nervous—not once. In fact, he would literally drag me from the car as soon as he realized we were in the Petco parking lot for his appointment. That alone speaks volumes about the love and trust she created with him. We are so sad to see Rika go and will miss her tremendously, but we are beyond grateful for the time we had with her and for the incredible care she gave Joey since he was just a baby. I also want to thank the entire Petco grooming salon for always creating such a warm, welcoming environment—every visit was a great experience, and I never once left dissatisfied. Wishing Rika nothing but the best on her new journey. Petco was truly lucky to have her, and we were even luckier to be one of her clients. 💙🐾
