Our cat got very sick very quickly. We took him in and there wasn't anything they could effectively do for him and we had to put him down. They were very caring and respectful through the whole process.

Called and made a rush appointment and they took very good care of my dog of 12 years old. My wife was very happy and relieved. Very nice staff and Doctor explained things very clearly and made sure we understand the problem.
Thank you very much.

Something was stuck in my puppy's mouth (chewed plastic), and my regular vet was too busy to see her. I called Douglasville Veterinary Hospital and they were able to accommodate us. Got on quickly, and had the item extracted without incident just a few minutes later. Super grateful to the kind and welcoming staff here. We will be back.

The best veterinary clinic by far. The staff and Dr's are all super friendly and patient. I have been going there with all my past and present my doggies since 2004. I remember when Dr. Lukert was there. Since then the clinic has remained consistent with great professional care. I also use their kennel facilities for my doggies vacation stays. I have always been very happy with their care and attention to all my pets throughout the years. Highly recommend this facility. A+++

If I could give ZERO. I would.
After being a customer to this vet for 10+ years. I have pulled my dog from here & it wasn’t just one issue. It’s been multiple problems over the last 4 years.
First and foremost they pressured me into a dental cleaning my dog did not yet need 2 years ago.
Pulled FOUR teeth without my knowledge. Lied and said they tried to contact me through both of my phone numbers to let me know what they did. I called to check on him - they said he was okay and STILL DID NOT TELL ME HE HAD TEETH PULLED!! I did not know until I got there. Proved them wrong with my call logs that they did not try to contact me. After their premature dental cleaning my dog started having issues with his teeth thanks to their little patchwork job they did.
On Monday February 2nd I was bringing my dog in to get his mouth assessed due to pain issues but over the weekend, he also ended up with a snake bite. Since we already had the vet appointment, I let them know my concerns of what was going on with his teeth & the snake bite & let them know my dog actually licked open the abscess on his paw so his paw had a gnarly looking wound. Instead of giving me real options, the vet insisted on making me feel guilty for how bad my dogs teeth were and then told me my dog needed emergency surgery & a skin graft on his VERY SWOLLEN & VERY INFECTED PAW. She tried to pressure me into getting x-rays that weren’t needed because like I said, this was a snake bite. And then sent me on my way to an emergency vet for the supposed emergency surgery & skin graft they said he needed. I ended up getting a second opinion at another vet in Douglasville and to my surprise, they did not agree with our vet of 10 years said about surgery.. About a week later following the instructions of his new vet & new antibiotics - his wound is healed. No surgery. No skin graft. They also prescribed antibiotics that served no real
purpose to what he had going on. To say I’m let down and disappointed in a vet I used to LOVE, is an understatement… whomever bought this establishment & licensed the vet who works in there needs to be evaluated. What an awful disgusting practice now.
