- HBHannah BishopDec 26, 20251.0I scheduled an exam for my dog on two separate occasions, and both times the appointment could not be completed because the clinic failed to schedule the necessary staff. I was told to pick my dog up and reschedule again. This was incredibly frustrating and inconvenient. I would not recommend this clinic due to poor scheduling and lack of reliability. This also cause undue stress on our dog as she was brought to the back twice since they forgot to muzzle her before going back at first. By the time we were leaving she was shaking and full of anxiety standing there.

Was able to frantically find another vet that took care of our issue and our fur baby is resting well. Did not appreciate the "oh well" disposition of the person answering the phone. I will be canceling my plan ASAP.

It was the hardest thing I had to do and their support was very helpful. Good experience except the new guy Rick who does not embrace the Douglasville location culture. Hopefully he adapts. Thanks again to the staff for being there for me and my Sasha.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
