Follow up communication with the office is nonexistent. You cannot talk to anyone by phone. Staff answers and says "Please hold," then you wait. After about 15 minutes you get transferred to a voice message that says their mailbox is full! I'm still waiting for my pet's test results. Nothing is posted in the pet portal. I'm trying to avoid taking a trip back there to get answers, but I guess I'll have to!

Normally, this Banfield has been really great to work with, very conscientious, and respectful of my and my pets time. The service I am commenting on right now is their ultrasound service which I believe they have a roaming team that comes weekly during a scheduled day and time. They even threaten to charge you a substantial fee if you do not show up for your appointment. I say this because they did not show up for the appointment. I had a drop off at eight in the morning and normally the team is supposed to be there between 10 AM and 2PM. After 2 PM they had not even confirmed that they were gonna be there and I had other things scheduled later that afternoon so I had to go back and pick up my pet without having had the service done. I finally got rescheduled for the following week and they made no offer to compensate me for the inconvenience and time that resulted from them missing the appointment the prior week. On top of that, the fee for the ultrasound is nearly $600 which is way overpriced. The regular staff for this Banfield was kind and professional, but this recent service left me very disappointed.

I’m honestly disappointed with the level of organization at this office. While the medical care itself may be fine, the front desk and overall communication have been consistently lacking.
Each time I visit, there is no receptionist at the front, and I’ve had to wait 10–20 minutes just to be acknowledged. On top of that, I’ve repeatedly requested receipts and visit summaries, and they are rarely sent unless I follow up myself.
Most recently, I dropped off a urine sample for my cat on Sunday and still have not received any results or updates, despite receiving same-day results previously.
For the cost of care, I expect a more organized and responsive experience. I hope the office can improve its communication and front desk management moving forward.

If could give Banfield 0 stars, I would. Banfield is the worst when it comes to customer service. The wellness plan is in black and white, and they tried to tell me I still had to make a payment even though it showed it was processed. It was a headache to go back and forth with them about it (of course I refused to pay) and they never resolved it.
Then they traumatized my fur baby (cat) because she now has a fear of folks at the vet. Other people who do not work in the vet’s office, she’s ok with being around. Then the vet surgeon didn’t fully explain herself when she told me that my fur baby had a condition. All she did was ask if I still wanted to keep her. I said yes she’s my baby and the surgeon just told me when to come back for pick up, no other advice or anything (such as possible treatment plans or anything.)
When I transferred vets, the new one needed the records and when I called Banfield, I kept getting either hung up on or the phone just kept ringing or I was on hold for over 5 minutes. Their customer service as a whole is awful. I would NEVER recommend Banfield to anyone.

Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
