  Had the BEST experience with this wonderful veterinary hospital. Sadly had to send our senior dog over the rainbow bridge and the entire staff was understanding and supportive- even giving our sweet dog chicken nuggets as a last treat before saying goodbye letting her know she was loved till the end. Beyond thankful for this sweet team of people. can not recommend enough!

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Banfield Pet Hospital in Conyers. Truly, this hospital is in a league of its own. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the compassion, professionalism, and genuine love they have for the animals (and their humans!) who come through. First, I have to talk about April, the practice manager. She is an absolute doll—warm, steady, incredibly knowledgeable, and the kind of person you want in your corner when you’re going through something tough with your pet. I was in a really difficult spot, and April went above and beyond in every way. She didn’t just help—she supported me. You can tell this isn’t just a job for her; she truly cares, and it shows in every conversation and every action. Banfield is lucky to have her, and so am I. The receptionist, Melissa (I hope I’m getting the name right!) deserves her own recognition as well. She was so calming and gentle during what was a very emotional appointment for me and my sweet Lady girl. When your nerves are high and your heart is in your throat, having someone like Melissa on the front line makes all the difference in the world. She helped set the tone for the entire visit, and I’m so grateful for that. And then there’s Dr. Sweeney—an absolute life saver. Truly. The level of care, dedication, and expertise she brings to the table is unmatched. She not only treated my Lady girl with incredible skill and compassion, but she also took the time to explain everything with kindness and patience. It is such a relief knowing your pet is in the hands of someone who treats them like their own. Honestly, everyone at Banfield in Conyers is exceptional. Every single person I encountered was friendly, supportive, and deeply committed to the well-being of the animals they serve. These are the kind of people who restore your faith in veterinary care. I mean it when I say this: I will NEVER go to another pet hospital—EVER. Banfield in Conyers has earned my loyalty for life. They took care of my girl with heart, skill, and so much compassion, and I’m beyond grateful. If you’re looking for a place that treats you and your pet like family, this is it. Highly, highly recommended. 🐾❤️

  Horrible! They injured my dog and didn’t say anything! I called to complain and the officer manager said verbatim “I don’t know what you want me to do about it” go elsewhere!

  Deeply Unprofessional & Microaggressive Experience I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at this Banfield location (Conyers, GA) on December 3rd, 2025, and I will not be returning. I called simply to reschedule my cat’s appointment because I never received a reminder call. The moment I spoke with Melissa, she was immediately dry, dismissive, and rude—despite me approaching the call with a warm and friendly tone. Instead of helping me, she was more focused on “proving” they called me, which they didn’t. She also placed me on hold without warning. When I called back, I was transferred to April, who refused to let me finish even one sentence. She talked over me, dismissed my concerns, and refused to provide the staff names I requested for documentation. When I said I could come in person if needed, she instantly twisted that into “a threat,” which was completely inappropriate and a clear microaggression. As a Black woman, having my frustration and my tone weaponized against me was hurtful, dehumanizing, and unacceptable. I ended the call in tears because of how disrespectful and condescending the staff were. When I called the next day, another staff member, Sam, refused to let me speak and hung up on me again before I could even request my cat’s medical records. At this point, they are refusing to release my cat’s medical records, which is preventing her new vet from knowing where her booster shots left off. This directly impacts her care and is completely unprofessional. After this experience—being spoken over, accused, dismissed, hung up on, and treated with microaggressions—I will be pulling my pet from Banfield entirely. I would caution anyone, especially Black pet owners or anyone who values compassion and professionalism, to think twice before trusting this location with your animal’s care.
