But, looking more closely at home, my husky's belly was shaved by this groomer... Shaving a husky is extremely harmful as it damages their double coat, which is essential for regulating their body temperature in both hot and cold weather. Shaving a husky can cause the coat to grow back improperly and lead to skin problems and issues with temperature regulation. A professional groomer should know better. I'm especially disappointed because we had a conversation when I dropped my dog off about how she should not be shaved. I hope this serves as a learning opportunity for the staff, but I won't be returning. Owners of huskies or similar breeds should be very clear about their expectations here.
