We enrolled our German Shepherd, Freya, into Alan's K9 Academy and the difference we saw in her confidence was IMMEDIATE, even after just the first session. Freya was skittish with strangers, even fear reactive at times, but in just a few short weeks she's come out of her shell and is actively enjoying being out and about with us now. Morgan has done fantastic work with Freya, and helped us build better habits to support her while she continues to mature. All of the staff is incredibly patient and friendly; the value they provide is exactly why Alan's K9 Academy has such a healthy reputation. If you have tried everything to build a better relationship with your dog and feel like there's something you're missing, please consider letting Alan and his team give you peace of mind and the tools you need to give your dog a solid foundation. My “mini bernedoodle” Ended up being 60 pounds and I was overwhelmed at managing his behavior. Benny came home from Alan’s board and train program a much calmer, better listening, non-jumping dog. I just finished my third of three in-home training sessions that are included in the board and train, and Kendall was amazing. She was reassuring and calm and helped me work through my insecurities. Highly recommend this training program! I wouldn’t waste my money elsewhere.

Willow was a dog I got as a emotional support animal, and she has had trouble learning basic training and I reached out to Alan’s K9 Academy to help me get her to the place I needed to be. Misty has done an amazing job and Willow has started to become a completely different dog! When I come to pick her up, Misty does an amazing job at showing me exactly what she has been learning, and exactly how I can do more at home. She gives me advice on how to control behavior issues, and it has been a huge help! If you need someone that is truly going to love your dog like her own, and help them get to the perfect dog you want them to be, go to Alan’s K9 academy and ask for Misty! It’s been a fantastic experience so far!

My great Pyrenees had the wonder lust and now she stays on my farm at the top of the driveway with the help of the halo. This is very important to me for safety reasons and my 93-year-old mom lives with me and it’s alone when I work Jasper also knows how to load up in my truck (big boys is heavy I can’t lifti him) Jasper comes sit and we are working on lie down. I especially like her knowledge of the correction E collar it just is gentle correcting. It has been a wonderful experience and we’re not quite done . Alonso has trouble with his paws being touched, as well as being a typical corgi (wanting to be the boss of everything). Immediately, Alan assigned us to Misty for 1-on-1 training. I cannot say enough good things about Misty, within our first session with her, I felt she truly loved and cared about Alonso and wanted to see him thrive. She even went the extra mile to borrow a grooming table for our sessions, so Alonso can get more comfortable with grooming practices while at home. Every week, our family looks forward to our session with Misty, as we are improving each week and we are given more things to start working on. Right now, Alonso has grown leaps and bounds and we as owners have learned so much!
