  I really love this vet. They have a no nonsense, straight to the point approach that I sincerely appreciate. We are people that appreciate a direct response and plan, even if it is blunt. Carroll County Animal Hospital provides exactly that. Our dog has chronic ear infections and we've been to a couple vets in the area and we were only given the options of expensive treatments and no possible avenues of prevention or cause. Carroll County Animal Hospital educated us on what the possible causes could be and while it is still going to be a struggle, we at least have some knowledge now. Additionally, they treated my cat a while back for an intense allergic reaction that resulted in a terrible itchy and nasty rash. The vet and vet tech were efficient and gave me a whole packet on the condition. I left with medication and the confidence that my sweet boy would get better and he did.

  My 3 year old gs died the same day she got spayed there cost was also 100 more then told it was going to be

  Our dogs have been seen here for 20+ years. Multiple aminala. My daughter took our sick dog to be seen and they sent us home. She was dying but in little distress. They said call if we wanted to put her down. 2 days later, she started showing signs of pain and distress. We called for an emergency appt. They said no. They were too busy to even talk to me. They gave me no other options or suggestions to deal with an actively dying dog in severe distress. I understand being busy but at least offer something. We will be moving our other dogs to a different vet.

  I recently lost my dog and had her sent off to get cremated and the staff was super friendly and I got her back reasonably quickly and the urn I got her back in was beautiful and the place they sent her to even gave us a mold of her paw print which I was not expecting

  The prices are a bit outrageous. I was charged $42 for anal gland expression!! It is $20-$25 anywhere else. Including Dande boutique in Carrollton. They gave my dog Osurnia gel for his ears… which hasnt helped a bit. But they want another checkout charge to Re-examine him. No, I’m not doing that. I wont be back. I’m only given two stars because they were friendly enough.
