- LJLAKESHA JONESDec 3, 20251.0Today we experienced a bad day again at the Mall of Georgia Petco. I spoke with the young lady named McKenzie, who was filling in for our regular groomer Marissa. Unfortunately when my daughter went in to get Hershey, she saw McKenzie hitting my dog and aggressively pulling his front leg behind him. That’s a no no! She have popped his leg out of place and he was snatching back from her so I know it was hurting him!! This was the second incident from when Marrisa made him bleed and didn’t tell me anything about it. I let that one go and just cleaned it up and put corn starch on it. So now here we are again, and McKenzie is hitting him to let her do his trimming on paws. They didn’t see my daughter watching them and she hit the window to tell her to stop and let him out of there! She did not let him out until I said in a forceful tone to let him out now! This is unacceptable!! The manager Brandon will not let me nor did he feel the need to show video of incident. Making me feel like he didn’t care at all! I asked to take me out of the system and he said that he “made sure of that.” Like ok! So I’m wrong for speaking up for my fur baby! We will not be coming back! And the argument was not intended. Keara is the one who came and got in the situation for no reason. She was basically taking up for McKenzie, when she wasn’t even inside of the grooming room. It was not her concern since she was on the phone and her back was turned away from Hershey. How could you know or see anything? She cursed my daughter and we cursed her back out and then she said “Curse at me again and I will come back out there…“ basically saying she was coming out there to fight with my daughter! Please look at tape, because the manager Brandon would not let us see it , nor did he say he will review it. Keara does not need to be around any animals at this point or McKenzie! Don’t know how often this happens, but it will not happen again with mines!!!
