  They treated my dog like it was family. We had to put our dog down and they stayed late so he would be with his second family. They cried with us and gave him love on his way out. I will for ever love them for loving Wawa.

  April 4th i made the most difficult choice and decided to put my bassett to sleep. She was diagnosted with cancer in January and it so so aggressive. The vet told me I may have one month with her, by God's blessing I had 2. But she was getting sicker and had stopped eating. I took her to Banfieldvin Bethlehem, GA. Dr. Budzilerui (sp) was absolutely amazing. Her kind words, her empathy for what we were going through helped ease my mind. I was able to hold Charlotte while she took her last breath and even after. They told us to take our time and when we were ready they came and got her. The team at Banfield in Bethlehem was truly the best. Thank you to Ivey, Emily, Angie, Tamera and Jenn.

  I adopted a new golden retriever puppy around Christmas time and brought him in to get just his basic shots so I could get him into the groomer that my other dog sees. I originally booked an appointment online, but was called less than 24 hours before the appointment to say that I wouldn’t be able to stay with my pup during his first exam , because of a scheduling issue, which was a little aggravating, but I looked past it. Once I got checked into drop him off, the vet tech came out to ask if I had any concerns, and this is where my experience started to go downhill. She asked what I wanted to do today and I explained I just wanted his basic boosters and flea treatment. From this point on she tried selling the puppy package to me, and after saying I was not interested her demeanor definitely changed. She then kept insisting I get the package and asked when I wanted to get my dog neutered. When I told her my time line, she again changed her demeanor, as if I was being naive in care for my own dog? Overall not a great experience to start off with. After he was done I did get to meet with the vet which made me feel better, but again I felt like all she wanted to push was getting the additional puppy package, where I pay monthly. I completely understand working for sales and commission but at the end of the day I believe customer service and caring for the patients should be of utmost importance. I understand going to the vet is expensive, but patient care should not be sales focused.
