I took my dog there to get groomed. I had problems with other groomers that my Milo was aggressive. Milo is a rescue dog I adopted 1 year ago. I guess he had separation anxiety from me. The groomer kept him calm and did a wonderful job. I will be going there from now on.

I’ve been going here for years. And an order of my cats flea medication has not been delivered to me. They left me a voice mail saying they can help me by giving me the number I can call so I can figure out how to at least get my money back or better yet the flea medication I need for my cat. And my calls are going ignored. I’ve left voice mails and still not email or anything. And my cat still doesn’t have their medication. Absolutely frustrating. They should have just left the number in the first voice mail instead of offering to help me, then ignoring me.

This Vet Hospital doesn’t have an assigned Permanent veterinarian. As a new patient on October 16, 2025 with a newly adopted pup, a Temp Vet who appeared to be a blonde female (Dr. Sarah Olsen) did my dog’s examination and vaccinations. All of my dog’s shot records have a male vets name and when I googled him the photo was definitely not the Vet who did my dog’s physical or the one who over saw my dog’s vaccinations. She was pretty clueless. I have worked with vets for my volunteer work with Fosters and Rescue Dogs and Cats since 1995 and she didn’t give me an easy feeling whatsoever. People, if you go to this vet ask for a copy of all lab work results because they told me that they sent me a “text” which I NEVER received stating all of my dog’s labs came back normal. I had asked the Temp Vet to send me the lab work results which were not sent to me and I didn’t receive a “text message” from the Vet Techs telling me the labs all were normal as I checked my texts and deleted spam texts. After I received the lab results after over 2 weeks from the exam by an email request, they were not normal. My dog had a high pH urine (Alkaline) that was concentrated, very dark yellow, with crystals, and protein present. I had explained to the Temp Vet during his exam that he was having numerous accidents in the house. I don’t know how this Vet Hospital retains an AAHA accreditation without a licensed veterinarian on staff with a Temp Veterinarian. The staff were very nice, but they don’t have Vet on staff and my dog’s lab work was not normal. I have never had a vet to “text” me about my dog’s lab work results instead of calling or sending an email. I will be going to a different veterinarian in the future with my new pup and cancelled his upcoming dental cleaning with them because there is no trust here for this hospital with no Permanent Veterinarian or continuity of care. The Vet told me that she was a Temporary Veterinarian I didn’t make that up! I have all of my past dog’s tests done by the same Lab with dogs that were over 17, 15, and 14.5 years old and they have NEVER shown Crystals, Protein, a high pH of 7.5, or dark yellow urine. These a NOT normal results. Incompetence and trying to cover it up now! Wow, just wow! No wonder they have no customers and you are begging for business online with a $25 exam fee. Update: My dog is being treated by another Vet for dehydration, crystals in his urine, protein, and an alkaline pH. The new Vet told me that any vet could see from his urine results, horrible breath, heavy plaque after just getting a dental on June 23, 2025, dry nose, and dry sticky gums that he had a dehydration problem. I explained to Dr. Olsen during his exam that he just had a dental on June 23, 2025 and her reply was essentially “I can’t help you with that because I wasn’t there.” Highland Animal Hospital: Please don’t comment with my Privacy Information without my permission or I will have to file charges for giving out my personal and private information which included my last name.

Way overpriced. I understand charging $80 for first exam. To charge another $80 to get 2nd Series of Vaccinations (one month later) is ridiculous. The topper was - I was told on my first visit that the next visit for the 2nd set of vaccines wouldn't be as much.
