I would definitely stay away if your dog is a rescue and starting to show behavioral issues. After doing the petco class I sought out a professional trainer and learned about counter conditioning and desensitization which are scientifically proven methods to change animal fear and reactivity. At petco the trainer scared my dog with compressed air spray to teach her not to bark at him. This was not a good thing to do for a dog that was already terrified. It stopped her behavior in the moment but did not nothing to help her in the long run. I believe this class contributed to her anxiety.
