Dr. Onder Oflazoglu is ill practiced and needs more training on effective communication.
I had my puppy brought here by a sitter for a visit bc of eye boogers. The sitter paid $60 for an eye exam(didn’t get a receipts front desk was on the phone while receiving payment). I have my puppy on the wellness plan, so I was not expecting to pay out of pocket. I called to speak with them about this and the “doctor“ answered offering to explain what he did at the visit. He stated, “mucus from the eye is obvious infection but I needed to do the test to see what medications I could use to treat it”. I asked “if medication is the only way they treat anything and if the medication doesn’t work, I’d need to go to a specialist, why not go to the specialist from the jump?” He said “medication is not math”. Very big on, “MEDICALLY, we didn’t do anything wrong here”. I’m like, but do you feel you are legitimately helping me rn? He didn’t wanna speak on the money aspect but even the medical aspect is not okay.
This is not to mention them not confirming with ME the ONLY owner on her PROFILE, if this would be okay. This was scheduled as a drop off visit. Doc didn’t make it make sense as to why my dog got this exam. Medication that was “recommended” was over $200 and he couldn’t say if it would fix the issue or not. That doesn’t make sense. And for the plan to not include diagnostic tests but include emergency visits?? This feels like an ugly set up. I am canceling this puppy plan as soon as her vaccines are done bc aside from vaccines, it has proven to be useless to me. And I hope this doctor and location wouldn’t retaliate within harm to my account or puppy over this. I hope they fix their oversights and get more training. Again, “doc” couldn’t tell me what the infection was or what caused it AFTER doing the “diagnostic testing”.
Disregarding the desk and doctor, the nurse that usually handles my puppy(dreads and great personality) is the ONLY reason I turn because she is very bright and helpful to me and my puppy.

Waited for an hour and 10 minutes and still no doctor. And we had an appointment. So we left.

I have been trying to obtain my dog Milo Barrett’s cardiac lab results, for which I paid over $100, and have yet to receive a call back. This has already required two phone calls and a repeat lab draw since the first sample coagulated.
As a Nurse myself, I understand the importance of timely communication in patient care. It is frustrating to have to repeatedly chase down results, especially when I provide my own patients with prompt, respectful follow-up as a standard of care.
Dr. Brown is great, but the lack of responsiveness from the office staff is disappointing and falls short of acceptable service. I expect a prompt resolution and communication of my pet’s lab results without further delay. If necessary, I will escalate my concerns to corporate or the BBB. Please stop playing with me.

Have the same issue as a couple people below with Dr Brown and his negligence with lab results. He was unable to complete a recheck urinalysis for my pet after her spending the whole day there (never had this happen before in my life) and sent me home with the kit to do it myself which I brought in the next morning. Never received an update and called to check a week after to be told they lost the sample. He became very condescending and thought it would be funny to make a joke out of it. Super unprofessional behavior on top of having to chase down results for my dog to make sure she’s okay.

The team here was fantastic. They did a great job with our problem cat and truly appeared to have ours and our cats best interest at heart

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
