When she didn't show any improvement for the second day in a row, the Acworth Banfield team didn't hesitate to squeeze us into their schedule same-day and took the time to sit with us, run tests, and figure out what was happening. Although I'm sure they had a full schedule, they didn't act like it was an inconvenience, and politely answered at least 50 questions I had about the tests and medications. I couldn't be more appreciative of their help, professionalism, and kindness, and they made my stressful day a little bit easier.

- JJJoeJan 17, 20261.0I took my elderly dog to Banfield because she has seizures and needed a Keppra prescription to prevent them. The medication was filled once, but then I was told the doctor I saw was a visiting doctor from another location and they would not approve refills. Banfield then insisted I return to the Kennesaw location for another exam so a different doctor could reauthorize the same medication—even though my dog was already examined and diagnosed. This makes no sense medically and feels like an unnecessary attempt to charge for another office visit. The staff is friendly, but the doctors and management are completely disorganized. When it comes to continuity of care—especially for an elderly pet with seizures—this clinic is a mess. I would not recommend this location.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
