- ACAutumn CantrellApr 28, 20261.0DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE!! I took my rescue dog here for his first wellness exam. He got all his vaccines that he needed as well as a heartworm test. They ran the heartworm test once and it came back negative, but they said it showed up that he may be anemic so they wanted to run the heartworm test again. They ran it again and he came up positive. They worked me through all of the treatment options and I chose to do the slow kill. Nine months later, I take him to a neuter clinic and his heartworm test comes back negative. Last week a year after Banfield test tested him positive for heart worms. I take him to a new vet and they send the heartworm test yo a lab and it comes back negative. On another occasion, my same pet was not pooping for five days so I took him in for a free exam that came with my wellness plan but specifically told them over the phone when setting the appointment and when I dropped him off for his appointment That if any procedure needed to be done, that was be outside of my wellness plan That they needed to call me first. Which they told me over the phone and in person that they would of course call first before doing anything. I pick my dog up a couple days later and they tried to charge me $374 for an x-ray that I Never consented to. They sedated my dog without even telling me. I do not trust this vet with my animal, and I do not feel like my money as well spent on their services.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
