  I drove 45 minutes for my puppy's (4 month old Golden Retriever's) first vet appointment due to a friend's suggestion. I am so glad I did. Dr. Steve D'Ambrose spent an extraordinary amount of time with me going over all of my concerns regarding vaccinations, research available on various vaccines, food choice for my pup, how to care for her ears, etc. The staff at Golden Heart was amazing and extremely caring. I can't say enough about this as a first visit, and they definitely earned my trust. Can't say enough good things and know that your pet will be under fantastic care should you choose them as your vet!

  I cannot recommend Golden Heart Veterinary Care enough. We recently brought our new puppy in for his first visit and were so impressed. Dr. Rogers is a wealth of information. His depth of knowledge and thorough approach gave us total peace of mind. The entire facility is top-notch & pristine, and the staff is wonderful with young, high-energy puppies!

  Our 19 year old kitty started showing severe symptoms of distress out of nowhere this past Sunday. We called Golden Hearts, and they were able to see her right away. The staff were all very compassionate and caring. Dr Rogers was very honest and kind when explaining her condition. They made her comfortable and gave us plenty of time to spend with her. Never an easy decision to make. We were thankful to have found Golden Hearts and highly recommend them. We will be back when our other kitty needs care. Thank you all at Golden Hearts.

  After not taking my cat to a vet in 10 years, I decided it was finally time. I’d been nervous for so long, with my cat never having an issue. But Dr. Parker calmed all my fears and gave me solid advice on yearly wellness care, as well as helped my little man get caught up on vaccines. The team was extremely kind and gave Artie lots of love and attention, which calmed his nerves too! Thank you to the team who not only give Gold Standard Medicine to every patient, but gives it from the Heart. 💛 Special shout out to Cam and the reception team for their amazing hospitality.

  Yesterday was one of the hardest days our family has ever faced, saying goodbye to Rory. Golden Heart made it possible to do that with compassion, dignity, and real human kindness. From the moment we arrived, the receptionists were gentle, patient, and caring. The vet techs were professional and deeply compassionate. The veterinarian was insightful, honest, and kind—no rushing, no pressure, just clear guidance and empathy. They gave us hours in a private room to be with Rory, to hold her, talk to her, and make the hardest decision of our lives in peace. When she had another seizure in their office, they responded immediately and tenderly. She was never treated like “a case”—she was treated like family. The facility is beautiful and comforting, and even the small things mattered: great coffee, snacks, and thoughtful touches that made an awful day a little more bearable. Compassionate. Competent. Respectful. We have never experienced care like this anywhere. And they’re open on weekends—which matters more than you realize until you desperately need it. We will be forever grateful. Thank you, Golden Heart, for helping us love Rory all the way to the end.
