I got a puppy for valentine’s day and I had many questions about the food / feeding. The worker there was super helpful and answered all the questions I had. He even gave me more information of all the services they provide at Petco for puppy training and vaccinations.

I brought my old dog with hip dysplasia and arthritis in for a bath. He normally goes to another Petco but this one had an opening on a better day. Right off the bat, the attendant didn't seem to want to bathe him. He's on carprofen for inflammation and she spent a couple minutes looking it up "in case he had to be denied". He's been to numerous Petco's for a bath and this is the first time anyone has done that. She also didn't cut his nails down because he didn't want them cut down and wined a little. I don't think she even tried because no other Petco has ever had issues with this. I'm not sure if they were overbooked or what was going on but I will not be coming back here for a dog bath. I don't feel like he got the care he needed and I didn't get my monies worth. I don't recommend anyone with an elderly dog to come here for a bath.

Shout-out to cashier Tabby for doing the right thing when confronted by an irate customer. Customer was attempting to purchase a Betta. She asked Tabby a question regarding the care of the Betta and in doing so, the customer revealed what the terrible living conditions would be for the fish. Tabby educated the customer in the most professional and peaceful manner that doing so would significantly harm the Betta. The customer proceeded to blatantly manipulate her story by first justifying her actions and then saying she would mitigate the harmful environment. It was obvious the customer was just lying to Tabby so she could buy the fish. She grew increasingly irate as Tabby refused to sell her the fish knowing the customer was lying. Thanks again for doing the right thing Tabby and for doing your best to educate.
