I’m literally never bringing my cat here again. First they refuse to answer their phones, and they just let the voicemail get full so there’s no use getting anyone on the phone. I brought my cat in for a teeth cleaning, and no other extras. When he came home, he was COVERED in blood on his arm, they never gave me any explanation they just handed him off with his paperwork. Come to find out, they clipped his nails anyways because THEY MESSED UP HIS BACK NAIL AND NOW HES IN SEVERE PAIN. This place is not a good vet and I highly recommend you find another that ACTUALLY GIVES A CRAP ABOUT YOUR PET!!!!!!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!! You do NOT hurt my family, so don’t waste your time. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET LIKE FAMILY, FIND A VET THAT TREATS THEM LIKE FAMILY! NOT HERE!

I loved this location and the plan when I first started but after two years with them, I’m starting to think it’s not worth the price. I was told last year after my puppy upgraded to the adult dog plan that I should include a dental cleaning because they recommended dental cleanings once a year for all adult dogs. Me wanting the best for my pup, I went with the more expensive plan that included this. Today, I had a dental cleaning scheduled and Banfield called saying they would not be performing the dental cleaning since my pups teeth were in excellent shape and that I simply lose the dental cleaning and of course do not get a refund either.
My complaint here is with their staffing and doctors who provide mixed feedback. First, the doctor tells me he’ll need a dental cleaning and recommends me to purchase a more expensive wellness package only to then tell me his teeth are in great shape and don’t require a dental cleaning once I’ve signed up for the plan that includes this. It almost feels as though Banfield just wants us to sign up for the most expensive plan and take your money while providing minimal service.

Care has gone down and prices have gone up. Every time I call I can’t get the info I need and no one in store has the info either they just refer me to the 800 number. We left and canceled our plan and had one appointment left before it expired. The appointment ended up being scheduled after the close date and they tried to bill me. Which is just the expected misunderstanding that I’m used to with banfield. I went online after going to my new vet to look up my (2) dogs records and one dogs records were deleted off of my profile
There was also undisclosed issues with anesthesia with my one dog that I found out (3) anesthesia used appointments later
It was great 2014-2015 ish but I will be going to a non corporate vet from now on

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
