  wasn’t great didn’t seem like the wanted to groom my doodle when they got the appointment earlier in the week then when my wife arrived it was almost like every excuse to not groom her we had gotten her bathed 3 weeks earlier and no issues with that petco, we keep up with her grooming and shots. not a great experience not even from around here just had business in town , won’t be going to this one

  We enjoy how the staff always talks to you shows you things for our animals and great info on products . Whesly chapel store is clean and friendly great staff

  An associate named Chris was very helpful with me and my cat's wet food found him to be very knowledgeable and very helpful some associates seemed rude cashier I was trying to buy a clearance item for my cat which was advantis for which was on sale for $30 originally cost $90 understand it was a clearance but I asked is there anything you would compensate because there were so many on the shelf and he's like no that's it very cold and rude I did not appreciate that but Chris was very good and I went somewhere else and purchased the advantage for my cat I wish I would have been able to buy it at my local Petco

  I rarely write reviews but truly wanted to give a shoutout to the night crew closing on Sunday 1/25/2026. I believe Scarlett was who helped us purchase our first gecko and they couldn't have been more friendly, fun to work with, and helpful. All of the animal enclosures are clean and adequate (to corporates standards) but you could tell that if the employees could have it their way; they would go the extra mile. Even the cashier who checked us out made friendly small talk and reiterated again how much everyone at the store loves animals and the work they do. Great experience!

  My experience at Petco Grooming was okay, but it could definitely be much better. The main issue is the attitude and customer service. The staff did not seem very warm or welcoming, and they were not very soft or polite in the way they spoke. You really don’t see smiles on their faces, and the overall vibe feels a bit cold. When you’re working with pets and pet parents, a little kindness and friendliness go a long way. My dog is a very calm and quiet 5-year-old toy poodle mix (under 10 lbs). This was the first time I ever got a comment saying he was “trying to bite,” which honestly surprised me and made me wonder what might have happened during the grooming. After we came home, my dog kept licking his feet a lot, which he normally doesn’t do. That made me a bit concerned that something might have been done too roughly or too close to a sensitive area. The grooming itself was okay, but the experience, communication, and overall attitude need improvement. Grooming should feel safe and comforting for both pets and owners. A simple request: please be a little more gentle, patient, and welcoming — and put a smile on your face. It really makes a difference.
