  I just wanted to stop in and give a Petco Grooming on RT7 A huge shout out and thank you for always going above and beyond for our two big pities. Arena has been taking care of our dogs for 3+ years and she is amazing. Customer Service is above and beyond, and she always listens to any concerns that we might have with the dogs.. We love returning every month and the prices are extremely fair! We’ll see you guys next month for our monthly beautification of the girls!!! Zora and Athena said hello

  Yesterday , I went to drop off my two dogs at the Petco in Wellington for grooming. I arrived early because I was on my way to the airport and wanted to make sure everything was in order. I waited at the counter for about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Eventually, a woman named Reyna came out from the grooming area and slightly opened the door to ask, "May I help you?" I explained that I was there to drop off my dogs for a grooming appointment. She asked if I had an appointment and with whom. After I gave the groomer's name, she responded that the groomer hadn’t arrived yet. I said that was fine, I just needed to drop the dogs off since I was headed to the airport. She sighed and said, "We have other dogs," before turning around and going back inside. Reyna later returned to take my dogs' information and began checking them in. She noted that one of the dogs had a small mat and informed me there would be a $15 charge. I mentioned that in the eight years I’ve been bringing my two dogs to the same groomer at this location, I’ve never been charged for that. She replied that "they haven’t been checking them in properly." I asked if we could wait until our usual groomer arrived so she could assess the dogs herself, since they are her regular clients. Reyna refused and continued to be dismissive and rude throughout the interaction. Her attitude was unprofessional from the moment she opened the door, and the entire experience was unpleasant. We’ve always loved our regular groomer, but this interaction left us unsure about returning, simply because of how poorly we were treated by someone who clearly lacks basic customer service skills.
