Beware, while this “clinic” does provide vaccines, they attempt to make you have your pet vaccinated more often than necessary. I took my 8 yr previously vaccinated dog in for his rabies vaccine. He had the vaccine but no tags were given. I did receive an email vaccine certificate that show he had the Zoetis 3 yr vaccine. The next vaccine due in one year!! A previously vaccinated dog only needs this vaccine every 3 yrs. When I called to get this corrected the “customer service” representative stated they aren’t responsible for the vaccines they only “make the appointments” I asked to speak with a supervisor but was told they don’t take transferred calls and would “call me back”. I am to date still waiting the call back. I would HIGHLY suggest you find an SPCA clinic to have your pet vaccinated. This company had NO follow up customer service to fix their mistakes. Vetco is a company who clearly is only concerned about making money. If you get your pet vaccinated here make sure your certificate is correct before you leave, otherwise you’re out of luck. FYI checkup information was listed as unable to obtain, this is false documentation as they never attempted to get any of my dog’s vital signs. ANYONE at anytime could count respirations!!

I decided to bring my dog to Vetco because of the Vital Care Reward program I paid into. He needed one shot and I had a free wellness exam. I was disappointed from check in to check out. At check in, they asked bare minimum. I provided my dog’s DOB and the put in an incorrect date, I had to ask if she wanted me to get a weight, receptionist stated they didn’t need it but I could put him on the scale if I wanted but she would have to get up and turn it on. I also had to ask if she needed his current vaccine records, she said I’ll look at it and that is all she did was flip through it and hand it back. Once in the exam room. No exam was given. They gave his one vaccine and sent me on my way. The receptionist provided me with a little slip of paper to go up front to the store cashier to pay. I was shocked when the cashier told me my total was over $60. I asked what I was being charged for and he said he didn’t know. He doesn’t get an itemized bill only a total to charge. I would have to go back to the clinic after I paid, for my itemized receipt. When I got my receipt the bill was only for the vaccine and disposal fee but it mentioned the wellness exam and what was found during the exam. Most of them stated unable to obtain. My dog was a behavioral problem. They never attempted to examine him. We will not be going back. The lack of effort, skills and professionalism is unbelievable.
