- JBJM BrownMar 1, 20262.0I agreed to bring my dog in an hour early to be groomed and he sat in a cage for 3 hours until they began his haircut, which took an hour. Why did I get asked to bring him in early only to have him sit in a cage for that long? I will never use petco grooming services again. Absolute BS. Why wouldn’t his appointment be at 4:30 instead of 1:30 if that is when they actually began grooming him? I was told that I had to pay extra to have him groomed right when I brought him in - seriously??? That is ridiculous and no one gave me that option when I brought him in. I guess this is the price you pay for corporate pet grooming services. Only giving 2 stars because the groomer was nice and did a great job. Use a local groomer if you can - they usually only take an hour and do not make your dog wait for 3 hours. I only did this out of desperation since mine was completely booked.
