During my visit today, I observed unprofessional behavior from an employee named Payton. She was openly speaking negatively about another employee on the sales floor, which was uncomfortable to hear as a customer. This is not the first time I have witnessed similar behavior at this location. When I went to the register, the cashier assisting me was polite and professional. I asked whether management was aware of the ongoing negative behavior, and I was told that they were. While the transaction was taking place, Payton stood directly behind the cashier, made subtle but directed remarks toward her, and told her to complete a task before walking away. The interaction created an uncomfortable and unnecessary atmosphere at the register. I would like to commend the kind young lady at the register for how professionally she handled the situation. She remained calm, courteous, and even apologized to me at the end of the transaction, despite the circumstances. However, the behavior I witnessed was disappointing and should be addressed. Until issues like this are taken seriously and corrected, I will not be returning to this location.

I purchased two mice that were represented as female; however, it was later discovered that one was male. As a direct result, there are now 18 offspring. I have made multiple attempts to contact both the store and corporate regarding this issue but have not received a sufficient response. Despite separating the males from the females immediately upon weaning, I remain concerned about the possibility of additional litters due to the initial misidentification and my limited experience with sexing mice at a young age. This situation has created an urgent animal welfare concern. I am formally requesting assistance with the following: - Rehoming or returning the babies - Guidance and support in preventing further unintended breeding - Assistance or direction in obtaining an appropriately sized enclosure for the females I intend to keep I understand that male mice should not be housed together and cannot responsibly keep them. I am seeking prompt guidance on how to proceed and what support your company can provide to resolve this matter appropriately. I appreciate your timely attention and look forward to your response. EDIT in response to the reply received. I was directed to call the store, which I had already done multiple times. I have left messages, but I have received no response.

The aquarium live fish section is not being properly cared for. Staff do not appear to understand proper water management or fish acclimation, which is why so many fish are dying. This is not normal. When I approached the tanks, every single tank contained dead fish. That alone indicates poor water quality and improper handling of incoming fish. I have over 20 years of experience in the aquarium hobby and should not have purchased any fish, but I hoped I might be able to save some in a quarantine tank. An employee even stated that “the neon tetras always die.” That should trigger investigation — not acceptance. Neons do not “always die” when handled correctly. The local tap water does have higher pH and TDS/PPM, but fish can tolerate this if it is stable and they are acclimated properly. When I tested the water the fish came in for 3 bags, the TDS results were alarming and was 800 ppm, 1000 ppm and crazy 1500 PPM. These are soft-water fish and should never be kept at those levels. Local tap water TDS is around 300–400 PPM. This tells me the tanks are not receiving regular 25% water changes. There is no chance these fish arrived to the store with TDS/PPM that high. I also observed in-store acclimation: bags are floated and then dumped. That is not proper acclimation and causes severe OSMOTIC shock. By the time customers buy these fish, they are already compromised IN-SHOCK. No amount of care at home can undo that damage. Get it together and do your job. This is completely preventable with proper water management, correct acclimation, and accountability from management. The manager there should not just depend on the employees to check. Management needs to personally check the water weekly to ensure employees are performing proper water changes. This should include testing TDS/PPM, ammonia, pH, and temperature. At a minimum, store tanks should be kept close to local tap water parameters (around 300 PPM in this area). While the pH is naturally higher and can be acceptable if stable, the PPM was dangerously high. Excessively high PPM leads to osmotic shock. At those levels, proper acclimation would require extremely slow, multi-day drip acclimation, far beyond what customers reasonably expect or are prepared to do. Fish should not be sold in conditions that require days of acclimation just to survive. With routine, consistent water changes, this situation is entirely avoidable. By using a good TDS digital meter you can avoid these problems.
