- KWKit WooJan 30, 20262.0Excellent people helped my friends, family and me put my dog down a few days ago. The staff was kind and compassionate and professional. When I called Banfield wanting to cancel the $51 monthly pay as you go "cancel at any time" wellness plan (ironically you get to hear the very misleading "cancel at any time" recording when you call) I was told by Louis, who to his credit sounds dead inside, that I owe $363.65 or I can just keep paying the $51 a month. Excellent local Saint Augustine staff. Garbage soul-less, corporate business model that will force you to pay for your dead dog's healthplan for 5 more months. "Cancel at any time" implies but does not actually mean you get to stop paying anytime, or when said "discount" plan has proved it's uselessness. Thanks, for the overpriced monthly reminder of losing my family member, Dirtbags. No one deserves you. Buyer beware.
- DBDixie BarnesDec 19, 20251.0This place is about money not your pets health my dogs are scared to death of the one blonde lady that works there they take my dogs in the back and I here my dog screaming there not like any vet I've been too cheeper but not worth my pets being scared then I tried to cancel my pet insurance and they keep taking money from my account. I had several friends who came there and felt the same way I do. They try to sell you stuff you don't need push stuff on you . Good examples I have a roommate that was going there live with my dogs and all on heart worm meds and tried to tell her that her dog had worms and tried to charge her 75.00 for worm med when I called and said how could her dog on the same as mine and mine don't have worms they got caught in a lie it a mess there believe me there charging you for stuff you don't need or our dog isn't receiving. Look on the Internet and you will see a lawsuit from a veteran who said they wanted him to give alter sound test to make the bill more

I highly recommend this vet! And thank you halie and the other lady that helped me today and of course all the other staff!

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
