They wanted a written letter from the vet stating he’s allowed to take the medication. I offered to show the paperwork with his prescription and dosage information from the vet and they said that wasn’t enough. Unfortunately the vet was closed so I just cancelled the appointment and took him elsewhere. It’s interesting they don’t expect senior animals to be on medication for arthritis? Unless they are giving the dogs sedatives after drop off and they don’t want it interfering with something they already take. Makes no sense that they wouldn’t accept his current prescription as proof he’s “allowed” to be on medication. Save your money and take your dog to BarkSuds in Bardmoor. They only ask for rabies and bordetella expiration dates and you’re good to go! They don’t need your first born child like Petco does!

I will never be coming back here and i wish i never even came to begin with. I am a new cat owner and was recommend to come here for how easy and efficient they were. I was scammed out of so much money and i when i came back yesterday i was asked the same questions that they should have already known. They were telling me i did something wrong for my appointment when i did everything with the front desk lady, so how was i to know that was wrong when she literally told me what to do. Then they cancelled my appointment and i found out because I HAD TO CALL THEM. She asked if i wanted to go to a different location that same day and i said no because i wanted the doctor that i had spoken with before, the lady said okay and i was rescheduled. TO MY SUPRISE the doctor that walks in is someone i have never seen before and had no idea what my kittens had already gotten. I am just so unhappy and genuinely mad at this place.
