The docs are always amazing… we have been explained everything from the care plan, what to expect and then of course the membership and cost. Always so crystal clear… they give me options and make sure I am comfortable. Dr Manu is extremely knowledgeable!!!! Vet tech staff is awesome - Garrett has always taken care of my pup and is wonderful.

I was told upgrading my wellness plan would cover my dog’s visit, tests, and medication, bringing my total to $188 instead of $680. Based on that information, I agreed. Later, I was informed the services were not covered. When I returned to clarify, Garrett denied what he told me and claimed I signed paperwork I never signed. I also discovered what appears to be my signature on documents I did not sign, which is extremely concerning. I do want to say that Manager Thereana was professional, helpful, and very easy to deal with. The rest of the team has always been great — this was my first negative experience here. Unfortunately, one bad experience like this can overshadow the good. Clear, honest communication is essential, especially when it comes to our pets.

- IMIsabelle MiraDec 12, 20251.0Drove almost 40 minutes to my appointment just for someone to walk into the exam room and tell me the vet can't see my dog because she's in surgery and to "leave my dog with them for a few hours until she's done". I have never been to Banfield before...talked to the Petsmart general manager who said even though he can get Banfield services for FREE he chooses to take his pet elsewhere. Stay away. They're unprofessional and the techs there seem sketchy!

The nurse is a nasty jerk with no compassion for your fur babies. And the dr should be ripped of his license! Don't understand how a clinic can be so cold hearted. I took my ill senior cat to this hospital and my cat sat for over 8 hours and they did nothing!!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. let's just say I spoke my mind and they didn't get one red cent from me! Please if you care about your animal DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL!!!!

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
