  After two attempts to buy food for our pets, we called it quits. The first time we bought cat food, we opened the bag and it was filled with maggots. We gave it a couple years before deciding to go back there to get freshpet for our dog hoping things have changed since our last visit. We decided to get an online order trusting them to give us something that wasnt rotten... well, the roll of dog food we picked up was burst on the sides clearly from faulty refrigeration. With dried areas where it burst showing that it had sat there for a prolonged amount of time without anyone noticing. If we didnt noticed and fed our dog this, we would be dealing with massive diarrhea and a trip to the vet. Avoid this store at all costs.

  They have everything I need for my dog, and the layout of the store makes finding things easy. The employees that I have dealt with are friendly as well.

  I went to buy dog food and was pleased to find the brand and style I wanted. The store was clean and well stocked. I was however disappointed that some new items on display in the front of the store were without prices. The girl at the checkout said the only way she could know the prices was to scan each. She also was doing a job of unpacking betta fish as well as running the register so she seemed uninterested in helping. There was also a display in the front of the store that had coupons stating 25% off a can of Nulu with any purchase. The coupon didn't scan at the register for some reason. The girl tried several things but it would not work. She even got a supervisor over to assist. It still didn't work. I asked why they had the coupons out if they would not work. I dont believe they even said sorry. Whats the deal? Things like this make me want to patronize other stores.

  I brought my 12 week old poodle to Petco for his first grooming appointment and was hoping for a positive experience. Unfortunately, it was the opposite. I understand that grooming puppies can take extra patience, but the quality of his cut was very disappointing. The haircut was very uneven in multiple places, with choppy patches and no real shape. He didn’t even resemble a poodle when he was returned to me. I was also quoted a lower price over the phone for this grooming package verses what was actually charged. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve both consistency and transparency moving forward.

  Was visiting family in the area and decided to treat pup to a quick in-between grooming nail & hair trim. We walked in (no appointment needed for several services), were assisted immediately and the entire visit was fantastic start to finish. We worked with Kylee in the grooming area and she made the extra effort to help ease my girl when we arrived, and the grooming was fast and trimmed to perfection. We have visited this Petco on prior visits and this is by far our favorite pet store - every staff member we have encountered has been warm and helpful. If in need of a groom when visiting, or if you are looking for a new local groomer, we highly recommend!
