- CBCarol BokanFeb 1, 20265.0We took our dog Louie to Vetco in Pinnellas Park Florida last weekend because he was very sick. We live in MA and were just in St Pete for a month so we didn’t really have a veterinarian there. We easily made an online appointment. Louie was very sick with vomiting, diarrhea and lethargy and refusing food and we were extremely concerned about him. We saw the staff there both Friday and Saturday. We dealt with 4 staff and every one of them was so caring and so competent. Tammy, the receptionist was so helpful and patient. Dr Sanchez and the technician we saw on Friday were both very skilled and caring. Their diagnostic skills were great and they were so supportive. Stacy went way above and beyond in helping Louie get well. She gave us great advice, followed up continuously and treated Louie (and us) with much care! Everything was very clearly explained to us and they really stuck with us until Louie was well. We will be forever grateful to the staff there for their excellent diagnostic skills and for their really perfect care for Louie and support for us! He is now well and back to being his usual happy self and this is due to the excellent care he received. This team is thorough, supportive and a real delight to work with. Thanks so much!
- CMCarl MainJan 28, 20261.0Don't waste your money in this place, go straight to a real emergency animal hospital such as BluePearl pet hospital should you have an emergency and you care about your pet, but do not pay money here for Xrays or nothing mayor, this place is a joke and got the courage to charged me $1700 after they dont even provide you with any timely results for at leastv2 weeks after your pet is dead. Never again I will trust Petco for animal care but dlfor food and pet supplies only.
- LSLilia StrekozovaJan 5, 20261.0We contacted the clinic to ask if this reaction was normal and whether we should be concerned. The woman who answered the phone was very unprofessional. First, she started ignoring us and repeatedly said she did not understand what we were saying. Then she completely stopped responding and stayed silent on the phone. We hung up and called again. She answered but still did not give us any clear or helpful information, only saying that “she will be fine” and “everything is normal.” Now we are left not knowing what is happening with our puppy and are forced to closely monitor her condition. We will have to take her to another clinic and pay a significant amount of money just to make sure our dog is okay. This has been a very stressful and disappointing experience.
- RMRenee MOct 27, 20255.0I had used The Vets Mobile service for my skidish dog 6 months ago. When I went to refill my flea/heartworm prevention they had closed :( I saw online the free exam at Vetco and easily booked my visit in the morning to be less stressful for all. Both the Vet Tech and Vet were great and will be a faithful client now. Even the manager was super first thing in the morning when we arrived!!
