    Today was our first time bringing our dogs to be groomed at Pet Co. One of our dogs is a small senior but we also have a very high energy, large breed 10 month old( this was his first time at a groomers) so, as pet parents, we were very excited to chat with the staff and see how the experience was for our animals and the staff. When my husband and I entered to pick our pets up, I kindly asked the manager Kathy, who was in-front of the desk, how did my pup do? I was simply asking because we wanted feedback( totally normal) Instead she replied while walking away from me, I don’t know.I didn’t handle him. She entered into the room to another groomer with an unpleasant look and as if she couldn’t believe I asked how my dog did. As a paying customer and a loyal, caring dog owner, I was simply asking how the appointment went. A more professional and considerate customer experience would have been for the manager to offer to check with the groomer or explain that the groomers would review the details. Instead, the response felt cold and dismissive. I’m assuming the manager was too excited to smoke her cigarette on the side of the building as we saw once we left. However, when I had the opportunity to speak with Kelly, the kind groomer, she was very helpful. She explained how our dogs did, she offered some tips for our next visit to help with our rambunctious pup and both our dogs were beautifully groomed. None the less, thank you for being so kind Kelly.

    Great staff! Store has a good variety of pet food for all budgets. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about foods, and animals (including rodents and exotics).

    I needed a water softening pillow for the filter in my fish tank. The petco website showed it as in stock so I ordered it. Since I was going to have to take the 45 minute ride into the closest petco store I decided to get a small container of fish food too. A short while later I received an email from petco with the subject line "Order Update, your ITEM'S are ready for pickup", so I went to the store. When I arrived the only item in the bag for me was the food. I was told the water softener was not in stock. I then showed him the email that said the "ITEM'S" are ready for pickup. But this time I opened the email and to my surprise inside it said 1 item was not in stock. Why did they send an email saying your "ITEMS" are ready for pickup. Thanks a lot petco, at least I now know what store to never buy from again..
